What is the difference between Timing hitting and Zone hitting? I use Timing but curious if zone easier or harder???

Zones harder especially on AS or up, but if you are good at PCI placement then Zone is more beneficial.

Honestly, there is no most realistic settings to play on. Some prefer more user input and some prefer more simulation based results.

I play online alot so I like to use the interfaces that offer me the most control: Zone hitting, Meter pitching, and Meter fielding.

Hitting: Zone

Pitching:
Home games: Pulse
Away games: Analog

Fielding:
Home games: Analog
Away games: Button Accuracy

I would imagine it's to simulate it being harder to perform well away

Classic pitching and timing for hitting.
And for fielding I let the ai move the player and use buttons to throw.
Still new to the show. Gonne learn this game step by step

Hitting: zone
Pitching: meter
Fielding: button accuracy (no higher than veteran)

AS level w/ tweaked sliders (fielder run speed at 4, CPU strike frequency at 4, pickoffs at 0 - and the CPU still throws over a lot).

My brain read this as one control type and then I laughed thinking sometime around The Show 23' , we'll get a new "Zone Meter Button" control type...

Just some house rules I have been using. For me I found if I stick with one type of mechanic too long it becomes routine and your missteps are few and far between. So I have two control profiles set up for home and away. Keeps things interesting.

Anyone using analog pitching legend difficulty ? I find it very hard to strike out the CPU this year compared to last . My strike out numbers are far too low
