If you go through this thread there seems to be a common denominator here. The size of the ball doesn't bother me, but nevertheless, it's an issue for others. Don't forget the the glitch where everyone seems to be wearing sunglasses, even during night games (I've experience this in exhibition games not sure about other game modes).

I'm going to sound like an old crank (I am) but here goes:
--Fonts hurt my eyes, even with a flatscreen.
--Size of the baseball is ridiculous.
--Custom camera can't be zoomed.
--Removed all of the "catcher" camera option for hitting.
--Strobe light flickering of the sky with many camera choices,
in many venues is going to cause me a stroke.
--Outfielders who won't throw the (expletive deleted) ball before doing
some kind of hop dance cost me outs every game.
--Lastly, (and most importantly for me) any continued franchise,
custom or ported roster results in every single player angry
about their role on the team. (Every starter expects to be the "Ace", every reliever the "Closer" and every position player the "Star".)
I loved 15' so I've gone back to it.
Just a bit of a warning. (It's not all bad but these things break it for me.)In baseball, you don't know nothing.

I don't blame the players today for the money. I blame the owners. They started it. They wanna give it to 'em? More power to 'em.

Re: MLB 16 The Show Impressions from us puny "last gen" PS3 Consoles
I am starting to get a little frustrated with the outfielders' double glove tap/double crow hop animation when guys are on base and running.
With no one on base, it looks cool, but when someone is trying to stretch a double into a triple, and the center fielder is hopping around and tapping his glove, even on a pre-loaded throw before the ball is half way to him, is not acceptable.
I even went in and edited the offending players to make sure their first position was where they were playing, just in case there was some sort of penalty for their playing "out of position", but that did not do it.
This was not an issue last year, so where this branch animation manifested itself, is beyond me.

If anyone is curious, the $20,000 (and I assume the $10,000) box of packs seems to be the best deals when buying cards. The Opening Week and the Spring Fever doesn't seem worth it to me... I've been playing the market earning stubs so I could try out these deals. In baseball, you don't know nothing.

If you're playing on Dynamic difficulty and starting from the Rookie level the contact is more forgiving. It's been like this since MLB 14. That's why you manage to make contact with late swing or even early swing.Comment

They could easily fix this with a patch, but the question is will they fix it in a patch...In baseball, you don't know nothing.

Re: MLB 16 The Show Impressions from us puny "last gen" PS3 Consoles
Can someone with the PS3 game do me a huge favor?
Are the Frisco RoughRiders (Rangers AA) logos/uniforms updated from last years' logo change? I know the PS4 version has them, but not sure if they updated the PS3 enough to account for it.
Any help there is appreciated. The old stuff was a red/black color scheme with a stylized RR with a horsehead logo. The new stuff is red/navy/cream.Comment
