I am having trouble getting my roster edits saved. Example; I changed Ryan Braun's stance, saved it, then tried to start a season with the same saved file, but it doesn't save. What am I doing wrong? How do you save roster edits and load them to season?

Are you making sure when you try to start your season you're selecting the "Saved" roster option? Sometimes, if you pick "Current" (having loaded your file beforehand) it might not carry over. Your best bet is to select "saved" roster when it prompts you.

Dunno, I try to keep batting stances the same for players if they are *close* since I'm not sure, but I know in other games if you would change the stance it would alter signature styles for HR's and such, although I don't know if that applies to The Show 08.

Yeah, if you change A-Rod's stance you will lose his signature HR pose. Not worth it for me. It's close enough, I just wish he wouldn't shuffle his feet like a 5 year old who has to pee. They really need to re-do a lot of these pitching motions and batting stances for next year.

As for edits, I absolutely hate Pettitte's delivery in the game. It is nothing like his real-life motion. So I fooled around and tried a few new ones and pitched a few innings with each. John Smoltz is the closest to his real life motion, and a lot better than the one in the game for him. The pitching arm at his side at the start of the motion is off, but the rest of close enough.

I also found a better fit for Kennedy than Meche's. Yovani Gallardo's is more like Kennedy's real-life motion.

Rob, these two guys pitch from the stretch with no runners on...I know there's a lack of accurate deliveries in the PS3 and PS2 version of this game, but Elarton and King Felix' deliveries are full windups, not stretch deliveries

For Ludwick, I'm using James Loney.

For Ryan, his stance his so weird but the closet I could find was Ramon Vasquez. Hopefully someone else can find a better one.
