@ beau
no...wish there was though
one of those games in the past...can't remember which, had that feature
when going through the batting stances, is there a way to make the player swing?
that way i don't have to go into the game to see each person swing..
reason being, i'm looking for someone who has a front leg load like Soriano.. but he has too much bat movement for what i'm looking forFor 2017...

Re: BATTING STANCE/PITCHING DELIVERY THREAD
for anyone that is interested...
i posted my roster file which is made up of JT's roster file (http://www.operationsports.com/forum...d.php?t=242361) plus I went through and edited appearance(s), stances, and pitching motions for 82 players that i'd gathered from various edit threads
here is the link to the thread where it can be found as well as detailed descriptions of what i did, what JT did and how to get the file onto your PS3: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2038215840

Re: Alfonzo Soriano's Stance (PS2)
Is this for the PS3 version? If so, I don't think those are the right ones.
Chase Headley - Orlando Cabrera. J.J. Hardy has way too much movement and the arm positions aren't close. I think Orlando Cabrera's stance in-game is close to Chase Headley's.
Craig Stansberry - Geoff Blum. Based it on his player card.
Paul McAnulty - Todd Hollandsworth. Closest there is I think. The only thing I couldn't get was the bat resting on the shoulder.
Still working a couple of more Padre stances.Comment

Eric Chavez
I narrowed it down to two:
Either Frank Catalonotto or Mike Jacobs....but I am leaning towards CatalanottoFor 2017...

Jason Kendall
either Scott Hatteberg or m-a-y-b-e Ken Huckaby....I think I'm going with HattebergFor 2017...

Re: Jason Kendall
Could someone suggest a stance for Ryan Braun of the Brewers, seeing as how they butchered his and the delievery for Derrick Turnbow? Thanks!Comment

Manny Ramirez
many of us on this thread agree that Manny's stanc ein the game is not accurate. James Loney was one alternative.
I'm looking at a Red Sox game from last August...and I have frozen a few frames of Manny immediately BEFORE he starts his swing. There's no doubt his swing has changed. He used to be slightly closed, slightly bent and had the bat kind of behind his head...looking at this video, he's upright, slightly closed, had his hands back and the bat is almost parallel to the ground.
I went through the stances: there are two that are in the ballpark:
Aparicio-bat more parallel, but moves a little and legs are open more than real life
Floyd-bat less than 45 degrees, moves a little, legs are correct, basically even stance
what do you think?For 2017...

Re: @ yank27
I was confused on this since on youtube I aw 2 different videos, in one he raised his hands and on one he did not. Two days ago I taped a Reds-yanks spring training game, just watched it and he does currently raise his hands. On that note Homer Baily pitched for the Reds, thinking of using seos, any other suggestions?Comment
