I've found that most of the stances are spot on....Sony definitely spent a lot of time paying attention to most player's stances and deliveries

you MUST be talking about The Show '08 for PS3 I assume, because for the PS2, SONY spent NO TIME/ZIP/NADA in getting the MAJORITY of stances and deliveries correct....and that's no exaggeration.....

I've found that most of the stances are spot on....Sony definitely spent a lot of time paying attention to most player's stances and deliveries

while looking for another players' correct stance, I noticed Corey Hart's stance...which wasn't in the Show '07....I like this one better than the one that's s-u-p-p-o-s-e-d to be Derrek Lee's.....

on the PS3 version, which batting stances have "leg-loads"..

I know Soriano takes a high front "leg-load" before he swings each pitch... but do any of the other stances have this kind of kick?

i'm looking for a stance for Billy Butler and he has a pre-swing kick like that but Soriano just has way to much bat movement..

Hi this is my first post here at OS. I'm a big fan of the site and the game. (and the Yankees)

Here are some Yankee edits (PS3):

1.Andy Pettitte: John Smoltz or Yovani Gollardo look great; current windup is outdated.
2.Ian Kennedy: John Smoltz is perfect

3.Derek Jeter: Current Stance is decent, but Renteria looks good too
4: Shelly Duncan: Justin Morneau
5. Ross Ohlendorf: Dan Kolb
6. Jon Albaladejo: Accardo looks pretty good (need to see Alby a bit more though)
7. LaTroy Hawkins: Foulke or Valverde
8. Billy Traber: Bill Bray
9. Farnsworth: Backe
10. Bruney: Broxton
11. Chase Wright: Hamels
12. Edwar Ramirez: Boof Bonser

I just compared a video of Pettitte (mlb.com) to the John Smoltz delivery and it's almost perfect. It's okay for both Pettitte and Kennedy to have the same motion since one is a lefty and one is a righty. If they were both righties (or vice-versa) you'd definitely want to use different windups.

Ive been using Matt Stairs for Cabrera since last year but then again that was last year.

when going through the batting stances, is there a way to make the player swing?

that way i don't have to go into the game to see each person swing..

reason being, i'm looking for someone who has a front leg load like Soriano.. but he has too much bat movement for what i'm looking for
