    @ miles999

you're barking up the wrong tree....NO ONE...certainly not me...gives a crap about that Texas Leauge site or your pitch speeds, theories and decimals. You must be out of your mind...WHO Cares!!!

I do not take any suggestions on what I SHOULD do...what I do I've been at it for a lot longer than you've been a member on this site....

And I have one better for you...why dont YOU create your OWN thread and save the nonsense and the foolishness for your own viewing.

If you are not going to keep it to the spirit of MY thread and what THIS thread is about, then stop posting on here. And if you continue to irritate me, I will have the mods deal with you...

This is not a threat, it is what I WILL do.

It's clear what your motives are...and every friggin year for the last five, I gotta deal with you all. But understand this....I'm the wrong one to keep trying...

"Juan Morillo reportedly threw as hard as 103 in the minors."

There are velocity differences from TV to gameday and if higher it's on TV not gameday/texasleaguers!
Besides, averages are for that, and you're way up there on the speeds, according to texasleaguers; proof they aren't off: Aroldis Chapman's FB is listed at 100.6 AVERAGE there!

"84.8" isn't useless, with that undeserving 85 if a guy throws average 84.8, he could sometimes hit 88/89... you'd want to set the velocity rating exactly where it should be!
e.g. 84.5mph slider is just in the middle: +1pt=.1667 for sliders, so 3pts to the right (or left if you're starting with 86), see how useful? instead of having to chose between 84 and 85.

I agree with rod, miles i know you want to just state your thoughts and everything but this is rods thread so you shouldnt be questioning him. So if you want to state your own obinions start your own thread.
Rod i agree with you in every possible way. I also respect you and everything you do for this forum. But ive noticed something, you dont like to be questioned and some people dont get that you've been here awhile so you have the right to argue.
Once again i appreciate everything u do.

        @ 15tpatry

        Hey 15...I appreciate it...

you know what? At one time...in THIS very thread (this thread is over two years running by the way) I was overly sensitive to SOME criticism....that's fair. Although onallythere were some circumstances where some would intentiong egg me on--those folks are long gone

THIS year, the only issue I have is those who nitpick (that's a better word) and havent seen or know jack...and I mean that literally
        THAT'S what grinds my gears...

and no one here knows this (but you all will now-lol)...but I've gotten a couple of PM's from a couple of folks that were on this site who literally tried to tell me what I should do, and also questioning my 'credentials' if you will...that IS unacceptable....period. And I won't allow it.

And when ya think about it...what is there to criticize? What I'm doing, NO ONE is doing it like me...and a LOT of folks...certainly a LOT more than I hear from, like it...so...what's the fuss?

They really shouldnt be doing anything. What can they possibly be questioning you about? How much you work for this forum and all the time you put into this forum? And nobody likes to be questioned. But when they're constently doing it no one would blame you for going off on them.

Eugenio Velez was tough. I ended up settling for Generic 91.

                    KYLE DRABEK-SP (Blue Jays)

Delivery: The two best I see, are Burres and Porcello...for a couple of reasons each and neither is perfect...
                    Personally, I'm going with Porcello

Tracked his debut from a few days ago, so the following is ONLY based on his debut

                    # cutter-95mph

                    sinker-95mph

                    12-6 curve-84mph

                    slider-88mph

                    @ circle change-86mph

                    # we only have a 5-pitch limitation. He threw a 4-seamer too. So it was between that and the cutter...I decided to ditch the 4-seamer because he threw 12 of those vs. 21 cutters.

@ supposedly his change is a straight change, but for the six he threw, the movement spelled circle change

his motion looks good for shields because of the bowing motion he does before coming set when in the stretch...what do u think?
