      Re: Kiko Calero

Thanks Rod. I don't work in a emergency room. Unfortunately I had to visit one tonight. After sitting in there for 5 hours I finally got called upon. I thought I had a severe case of strep throat because I've had it before. Since I haven't eaten or drank anything since Friday, because I cant talk, swallow or even open my mouth, I decided to go check it out.

Come to find out I have a bacterial infection in my throat, fluid behind my ears and I've lost 15 pounds. Hope my prescriptions start working soon. I'm starving!

          @ R3BeL

          well GOT damnnnn

          take care of yourself

and yes, hospital ER's are notorious for having folks wait forever before being attended to...sometimes ya get lucky
my son went to nearby hospital here in lower Manhattan over a week ago because of severe coughing...he was diagnosed as having a fairly serious case of walking pneumonia. He's better now thank God...but he was lucky...he walked in on a Monday at 5:15 pm and he was seen in less than 15 minutes...here in Manhattan...that's almost unheard of...

            Re: @ R3BeL

I know Rod is keeping his eyes open as always, but I figured I'd post this list to see if they have anything for these guys.

            Andres Torres (SF)
            Joe Martinez (SF-Delivery)
            Jose Morales (MIN)
            Brian Duensing (MIN-Delivery)
            Andrew Bailey (OAK-Delivery)
Matt Joyce (TB-His hidden stance is wrong I believe. Unless he changed it. Last year he was more upright and we used Branyan's stance. I'd change it, but Branyan's stance has been altered.)

Ah pneumonia. I've had that around 5 times in my childhood.

nothing...they were not on the/my 25-man roster when I did the Dodgers...

you may want to go to the rosters section and look under the LA Dodgers thread....

Yeah I did that but I like the stances you come up with better than eltodd and them guys who had suggestions on Repko. Thanks though.

I had his delivery as Haren's last year...which is probably a little slow. I'm not sure what's good with 2009's deliveries.

Anyway, the following are the updated items to reflect his 2008 season with the Tigers' High-A affiliate:
