For example I was playing the Dodgers and Furcal got hurt. I thought Blake DeWitt or Loretta might come in to replace him. The CPU chose Brad Ausmus. I couldn't figure out why until I looked on his player card and it lists ss as his 2nd position. I started going through the rosters and there are approximately 4-5 guys on each teams roster that have stuff like that. I'm a white sox fan and it lists LF, RF and 3B as second positions for Paul Konerko, also 3B for Thome. Adam Jones is another he has 2B and ss listed before LF and RF. I just go into edit player screen and fix it so it's right, not a huge deal, just have to find all the guys it effects
Knight will you be going through some of these strange position choices for guys? Or is there any way we could at least try to compile a list of all the guys that need to be editted and do it ourselves after release? (Not asking you to make the list Knight, you already have a bunch to do haha, just saying that if anyone else here knows much about it to maybe try and help out)

Actually, a rolling fastball is what Jeff Suppan throws. It just rolls to the plate for a ball.

Yeah, seems to be pretty effective at 0-2 w/ a 12.91 ERA. He's looking sharp!

Hey Knight/RAZR Jason Frasor for the Jays has developed a very good changeup this spring he uses to get leftys out which which has worked very well for him.

Don't worry, he's an "innings eater".

/at the bargain price of $63,750 an inning.

And the funny thing is that he is an "inning eater". After he is done with 6 or 7 innings...we are down 7-2 or something like that.

....and Ken Macha decided he was our ace...

Yes, just want to make sure Razr knows I wasn't making any comment about his pitch edits , but just wondering about the web site. As I have mentioned before, his pitch edits were invaluable last year.
I checked out Lindy's tonight in a book store after dinner. I used to buy all those magazines in the past until I started getting more info from the internet. I forgot how much I liked it. There is still something nice about having a "hard copy" of a baseball magazine like that one, so I picked up some of them.

Oh yeh, I saw what your intentions were. It's extremely difficult to find a site with accurate info of a pitcher's aresenal...I always try to get a hard copy for baseball but this my first Lindy's (used to always get Street & Smith). It's got great scouting and makes for great reading material - especially on the throne.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

                                Hey all,

This will undoubtedly end up amongst all the other "atta boy" thank you's others have posted, but this is my first post in this forum and I would be an idiot if I didn't use it to thank Knight et all for all the hours of painstaking work this takes. Each year, my best friend and I spend the summer playing a rivalry a couple games per week and I spend the rest of the time franchising it with my Giants.

As part of the rivalry, we create ourselves as players (o.k., maybe not realisitc, but it's fun) The work it takes just to do that is an evening. What you guys have done year in and year out...especially Knight, cannot be complimented enough. It's eye-crossing, brain numbing work that when being done for teams you could care less about as a fan, becomes even tougher.

Knight, you my friend are one steely-eyed, tough son of a gun.
Thank you sincerely for this fantastic gift every year!
