With CPU roster control off, the CPU sets the lineups the way it sees fit based on its logic. Some do not like it (it may have Helton leading off, Tejada batting 2nd, etc.), and it doesn't bother other people. Lineups appear to be based on ratings. Knight alleviated a lot of the lineup problems in his rosters by doing some minor edits to the players. After the first release he will release a roster with his minor leaguers and without any edits to the SCEA players.

With CPU roster control ON, the lineups you set for the CPU under CPU roster control do not stay where you put them (last year this worked fine) like they should. This is a broken feature.

The latter (CPU roster control ON) will probably be fixed with a patch, but no one knows for sure. As for the historical stat bug, they know about it, but we aren't sure if they will/can fix it.

thanx dude. i wonder why the work around no longer works? so if i understand correctly, the stat glitch in knights roster is not fixable unless its patched by sony?

Strut24, yes you are correct. His rosters helped with it both ON and OFF.

Not really sure there is any expected release time. My assumption is that since knight was willing to do this in the first place it's possible that he is a perfectionist. With that assumption in mind it's not to hard to assume that he wants the first final version to be as accurate as he can get it.

I would also assume he is going through all the PM's he got and making any necessary changes.

Who knows, they might be released as early as 5 minutes from now or as late as tomorrow night.

Guys....right now I'm just setting the AAA rosters .....setting all the lineups in the roster control screens....and adding the last few players. Figure on or about 10 Eastern.

Also....for here(tomorrow night) will be the "bonus" list for the first amateur draft. You will simply have to track the players as they get drafted and then rename them according to the list.

Thanks Knight for all you do! I am very excited about looking at this roster set. Been waiting for this, checking daily, and all that.

After I'm getting this set, I'm gonna do a Franchise, and finally start the dynasty! Bravo!

You will do this during your franchise. Once the June draft rolls around, keep track of the players that teams draft. Then you can go to that team, edit the (fake) players that were drafted to real players that are likely to be drafted IRL.

Of course you would have to do this yourself and it is optional. The plus side is that Knight will be providing a list with the necessary information to make editing a little easier for you if you chose to do this.
