There is the bar for the attribute as well as a corresponding number next to it. Easier to edit/create like that.
But in the game itself....you only see the bar...(ie...the player card)

    ilpadrino..
Not a stupid question at all...it's totally new, so unless you've seen it...you wouldn't know!
If I(or anyone) uploads their roster to the Roster Vault...then anyone can download them directly to their PS3...no PC needed.
Much like "MY SLIDERS" last year

      Well, I hope.

...anyway, it's basically the same. They did put the levels all on the same page now...so you can see your entire club at once(by position.....too many for everyone). They also made moving guys from level to level easier.
We'll see in a couple of days!

Thanks, yes, I'm doing pretty well. I have been contributing on O.S. posting patches and rosters for various sports games on the 360 in Xchange format in my blog for those people without Live access, but other than that, I haven't posted much lately.
I have purposely stayed away from the MLB 09 forum for a while, lol, because this is the one game where I am still like a child eagerly awaiting its release. I just get too anxious reading about it, lol. I put mine on hold on Saturday, and am eagerly awaiting its release Tuesday. I'll definitely be around the forum alot after the release.
Sorry to hear that the editing interface isn't too much better.

I see Jim "has other commitments" this year, lol. Just busting you Jim .

I think this is relevant; I was just looking at some of the pictures the guys who have the game are putting up and one was a create-a-player screen... you can finally have audio for the first and last name of the created players. this always bothered me from the 08 game!

First off, I would like to thank each and every one of the people working on the full minors roster etc.

Also, please don't think I'm ungratefull, but I would like to know if any of you can give me an indication when this roster will be done? As I want to start my franchise asap, but would like to do so with correct rosters.

                  Hard to say.
Razr gets it first to do any pitching corrections to the MLB players.
Once I get it....I need 3-4 weeks. We could be looking at mid April...maybe a bit later.

I thought i might have come up with a little bit of a short cut for the minor leaguers. i know that in 2k9, they actually create the minor league guys (at least the prospects) with fairly correct ratings right? they just have their initials right with the wrong games...i thought i remembered steve posing a spread sheet of their ratings over there, but they dont have the minor league guys. i know maybe the ratings wouldnt be spot on, but i thought it might help get a jump start. oh well, just a thought.

                      The Show doesn't do that.
Plus...to tell you the truth...it's better they don't.
Otherwise...I'd have to go through their ratings...check it against stats and my ratings....then change things.
The way it is though....I can just figure everyone is a clean slate and they only thing I really have to worry about is the potential rating matching and now the option years.

Here is the Atlanta Braves Top 10 Minor League list provided with info. I got the info from Sporting News.

                              1. Jason Heyward (RF)
ripped through Class A baseball, hitting
                              .316-11-56 with 15 steals. The tall, strong-framed
hitter has plus power potential and a mature approach
that will make him a quality run producer.

                              2. Tommy Hanson (RHP)
offers plus command, a solid ground-ball/fly-ball ratio and three swing-and-miss pitches. He touches 95 mph with his power sinker and went 11-5 with a 2.41 ERA between Class AA and high Class A last season.

                              3. Jordan Schafer (CF)
rebounded well after a 50-game suspension last year, hitting .269-10-51 with 12 steals in 297 at-bats at Class AA. He has moderate power, excellent speed and supplies Gold Glove-caliber defense in center field.

                              4. Freddie Freeman (1B)
possesses the bat speed for power along with the plate discipline and contact ability to hit for average. At low Class A, he hit .316-18-95 last summer, but will need to improve his defense.

                              5. Gorkys Hernandez (CF)
is the future leadoff hitter for Atlanta, possessing plus speed and the ability to get on base. He hit .264 with a .348 OBP and 20 stelas at high Class A, and has excellent range in center field.

                              6. Cole Rohrbough (LHP)
deceives hitters with a low slot and notches strikeouts (10.4 per game) with his 88-93-mph fastball and knuckle-curve. He posted a 4.40 ERA between high and low class A.

                              7. Julio Teheran (RHP)
has the most dynamic fastball in the organization, hitting 96 mph with late life.

                              8. Jeff Locke (LHP)
keeps the ball down and has two potential above-average pitches with his 87-93 mph fastball and curveball. At low Class A last year, he went 5-12 with a 4.06 ERA

                              9. Brandon Hicks (SS)
is a fundamentally sound player who makes good defensive plays and produces offensively. He hit only .235 between Class AA and high Class A, but had 20 homers and 14 steals.

                              10. Randall Delgado (RHP)
notched a 3.13 ERA and 10.6 strikeouts per game in short-season ball, featuring plus movement to his 88-93 mph fastball and curveball.
