Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
Alright!!!!! If I get this to work it will be the first time. I remember trying to do something with MVP like this....for the mods for the game or something like that. It also required a bunch of zippers. Never could get that damn thing to work. I didn't have the friendly OS community helping me either.Comment

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
I had trouble with MVP for the PC as well, he problem is, once you unzip and go into the file, things can go haywire. As a few guys mentioned earlier, don't touch it, dont even look at it funny. Unzip the Zip file to your desktop. A PS3 folder appears. Right click on it, copy, go to your thumb drive, right click, paste. Put thumb drive in PS3. Go into game data folder on PS3, thumbdrive will be there, copy the PS3 folder and your done. Go in game, load Roster, pick KNIGHT ONE, start franchise, save. Then add in your custom music after you saved the franchise with the new roster.

Do you have winzip, or I think it's called winrar??? You should be able to RIGHT click on the zip file and it will open a window that says something like "EXTRACT HERE".Comment

=DrUrsus;2039402829]Thanks for clarifying, Jim.
Some people in the past on other games and this one have zipped the BLUxxx folder with the files in it, so you had to create the PS3 folder and then the SAVEDATA subfolder in it.

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
Knight's roster will come in a zip file.
Unzip it to your desktop. It will say PS3.
DON'T DO ANYTHING TO THAT FOLDER, DON'T LOOK IN IT, DON'T OPEN IT, DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING, DON'T EVEN CHECK IT, LOL.
That's where some people have gone wrong. When Knight saves a roster file everything is included in the PS3 folder. He doesn't have to add anything it's just the way it comes out. I know last year guys were messing with the PS3 folder. Touch it and your children and pets will be plagued. (Well, not plagued, but hurt pretty bad).
Put that PS3 file on your flash drive and then plug it into the USB in your PS3.
With the game off go to SAVE DATE UTILITY and look above that for your flash drive.
Hit X and it will open it. You'll see the file. Hit TRIANGLE and save it to your hard drive.
Load the roster once in the game.
Also, Dan Giese was claimed off of waivers by the A's (from the Yankees). To make room on their 40 man Oakland DFA'd Chris Schroder.Comment

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
What happens if you open the PS3 file or something? In the past my attempts of transfering roster files from computer to flash drive to PS3hd have been both successful and unsuccessful. More times than not I get it though, and you might have just told me why I am sometimes unsuccessful. I'm just a little confused lol.

I was being a bit facetious, but last years guys were opening the PS3 file and taking stuff out of it and trying to import that into their PS3. The PS3 will ONLY recognize a folder that say PS3. It will not recognize a file that says SAVED DATA, for example. All you need to do is put that PS3 folder, that is in the zip file, into your PS3. Make sure your flashdrive doesn't have another folder in it titled PS3. I think that was causing a conflict too.
If you have any problems, just PM me and I'll get you through it.Comment
