I have noticed that if you just go ahead and rename all the rosters, some prospects that arent that good will be B rated potential and some really great pospects like Andrew McCutchen and Matt Wieters could end up a D potential.

So to fix this I created the key prospects and when you do this, they are givin a A potential. I keep this for the elite top 20 prospects in all of baseball.

Then enter franchise mode and make a list of all the B prospects that can be edited on every roster and use those players to fill in the other 200 prospects so they have a good chance of making it to the show. Players such as Jemile Weeks, 2b for the A's and Buster Posey of the Giants.

Players with the potential C or D I dont really care about. I have discovered that this makes the rosters the best possible.

The worst is having a Matt Wieters stuck in the Free Agent pool with a D potential.

You go into franchise mode and find out the elite prospects, back out into the normal game menu and edit those players from there....... If you dont do it that way, all the work is useless. You will have the names of prospects but the good ones might suck and the sucky ones might be the next barry bonds....

Oh I get what you mean. Seeing the players potential and then editing them. He does that. Except I think you can see potential outside of franchise

I was thinking more along the lines of player ratings, not just pitches being added or dropped. I get that these guys wanna make the most accurate roster ever, but if that's the case, things like Pudge being the fourth best catcher in the game need to change.

Now actually, Knight didn't you say I was in charge of this a while back in a PM?? I remember asking if I could edit the Major Leaguers, but I didn't know what happened. Am I still doing this or are you going to???

Heisman....with the lineups issue....I think I'm going to have do these edits myself. Sorry.
Just no way around it.
It has now become more than just editing one guy for better gameplay and stats...because that could throw off an entire team....it's going to be looking at and possibly editing..and re-editing to keep things in line.
