As a Mets fan, I think a B is good for him. He has hit pretty well wherever he's played, so the attributes are fine. But outside of scouts opinions, he hasn't shown star potential anywhere in minors. I think he'll still develop into an all-star, but he hasn't shown it yet.

Cecil will be in. I needed another B prospect and I wasn't sure if I had enough players to go around. Miraculously ....I think this year I will have enough editable players to make everyone real(no devs!)...so I can get him on
Did I switch Lind?....I'll switch him back. I thought I based my Snider off of SCEA...but I don't mind a slight upwards adjustment if necessary.
I hate to ask you guys...but if you could PM me the suggestions/changes...it would be great.

Gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up. I know you plan on releasing a roster without the lineup fix but have heard that you will leave it with SCEA's exact attributes aside from the players you've created. It'd be a shame to not be able to benefit from everyone's hard work and research on attribute edits of current players just to not have the lineup fix. Don't know how hard it would be to post up a fully edited roster JUST minus the lineup fix.

This is just my 2 cents about the lineups and the fix, take it or leave it. You have done a great job with this, they're your rosters, and I dont want to come off as criticizing or telling you what to do, so please don't take any offense.
I wouldn't put any more time into editing attributes just to get the lineups correct. In fact, if possible, I think you should just do attributes based on your accumulated knowledge of the players, feedback, etc, and not to make the lineups work. Then guys will be more "accurate" in my opinion. If it's a slight tweak here and there, I agree. Ultimately, you have always had good judgment about all of this stuff, so I am sure you will do what's best. If it's too late to "go back" then I totally understand as well (like in the case of the career stat glitch).
During franchise, I have noticed that they end up "out of whack" alot if you move guys up and down from MLB to AAA and change lineups, etc., anyway.
For example: When I played the Rays, I dropped Upton to AAA and brought up Joyce to play CF. I then set the lineups based on Opening Day. This is with CPU roster control ON by the way. By the time I went to play the game, it was jumbled again quite a bit anyway. It had put Crawford at DH instead of LF, and put Burrell in LF, and Crawford was leading off which made sense to the CPU based on its logic. Being detail oriented, I used the 2 controller method, so I would face the correct lineup.
I know that Jim had a similar issue when playing against the Twins, when he tried to bench Redmond. I have seen several other cases of it too.
I am sure you know about this, but I am just bringing it up to illustrate why I don't think making the lineups work is important at the expense of more accurate attributes.

I agree with the Doctor. I used to do this same thing when i shared baseball rosters and overall its fine but some players like alfonso soriano you gotta tweak a little too much (not saying you did this as i didn't look) to keep at leadoff. Sure the Jason Barretts can be dropped from 99 vs Lefties easy enough but don't just change the ratings of players you think were ok just for the sake of the lineups. Odds are we'll get to fix them with roster control on soon anyway. Plus, always the 2 controller thing. I have to agree (although I was excited for the lineup fix at first). I am also a real life day to day transaction guy and have noticed when moving players from the minors up, it gets "jumbled" again anyway. Really hope the CPU Roster Control ON gets addressed in the patch. On that note, do you have an ETA for the Full Minors with the SCEA stock ratings? Thanks for your tremendous work!!! You basically started blasting me for doing the lineup fix....I play manage only mode...so for me...I GOTTA have the lineup fix.....there is no two controller method. .....and I still think that it doesn't even come close to "messing up more than it fixes"....in my testing...the stats look pretty darn good in most cases.

No worries and if people weren't freaking out about the lineups from the start....I wouldn't have even worried that much about them....
Originally I just did it to show that it could be done...and I did need it somewhat for myself, being a MoM guy....(I can't set the lineups at the play screen like you guys)...but yes...I'm done with that....
The stock set will be soon after the initial release.....and then my tweaked set(for stats and gameplay, like I do every year....then once I get my own franchise rolling....a nice ALL TIME GREATS roster set!(my personal fave)

Nothin wrong with that at all its just time wasted IMO.
