Since the pirates are out in full force do any of you guys know why Dumatrait isn't in the mlb? He was pretty solid last year.

he has shoulder problems, he most likely start the year on the DL, then go to AAA, then hopefully the Pirates.

You think that highly of D McCutchen? He's kind of getting up there in age for a guy without overpowering stuff.

Ya hes 26, kinda out of prospect age, but the Pirates really like him, I;m not sold on him yet, plus he doesnt seem like that nice of a guy, lol. (I met him at spring training)
I hope hes as good as they think though

I'm a Yankee fan and never thought too highly of him. More of a potential 5th starter or long man in the bullpen.

Yeah he is older (26 going on 27 in September). I think that says more about how poor the Pirates Pitching prospects are. It's all realitive. Even the Pirates top 3 Pitching prospects should only be rated B potential. Even still he is only projected as a bottom of the rotation guy (3,4 or 5). IMO "A" potential pitchers are the aces, "B's" are the possible 2's more then likely 3's or 4's and the "C" potential are the 4's, 5's and bullpen guys. I think it's McCutchen's work ethic and knack for getting outs that makes him a "B" potential instead of a "C".

EDIT. He is close, if he is not starting next year or in the bullpen for the Pirates I would bump him down to a "C".

Hey Knight . . . I'm one of those guys who just patrol the thread but don't post, however I do have one question. I'm a huge Dodgers fan and I love your rosters but last year in your set there was a mistake where Andre Either threw right handed in the outfield, I know some may not find it to be a big issue but it bugged the hell out of me haha. Anyways, that's not going to happen this year to Either or to anyone else for that matter is it?

Hey Knight . . . I'm one of those guys who just patrol the thread but don't post, however I do have one question. I'm a huge Dodgers fan and I love your rosters but last year in your set there was a mistake where Andre Either threw right handed in the outfield, I know some may not find it to be a big issue but it bugged the hell out of me haha. Anyways, that's not going to happen this year to Either or to anyone else for that matter is it?

Naw, you can actually edit the player's throwing arm now.

I just had a crazy thought, a switch throwing pitcher! He would have to have a custom glove that would fit both left and right handed. Man if you could just throw 90 MPH with both arms you could make millions.

EDIT. Warming up would take twice as long though.

As a matter of fact, there is a switch pitcher, his name, Pat Venditte, he plays in the Yankees system :-)

There is actually a rule made because of him, and just so happens to be named after him as well ;-)
