Knight, I'm still offering to help if you need anything or have any question regarding the Reds. I also had one question, will your roster set include custom music? I haven't fiddled with the music yet and wondered if it would be included. If so, I'll try to get you a list for the Reds on Opening Day or even sooner.

The fact their are two sets of people doing the same thing is pathetic. Had all you guys been working together you could have already had the rosters by now. People should learn to swallow their egos. I saw the little spat Wookie and Razr had over who should be called the "co-editor" on those NCAA rosters is this why the two teams havent merged?

p.s. Of course if this is a PS3 vs X-Box thing I retract my statements and humbly apologize...

Roster files can't include music files since any music used has to be on the users hard drive. I don't think Knight will be able to include custom music.

Actually you are the real idiot because if you read the posts following that statement we have already gotten that statement clarified. Wow. I have plenty to say but I'll make it short.

1. LOL at bringing that up. That whole thing was a joke. That wasn't serious at all.
2. If there was something for him to do on this project he would help.
3. Having him helping would not make the roster get done faster. It would simply mean that more people are working on it. Remember that you can't have 2 people working on the same file at the same time.
4. None of this has to do with egos.
5. This is not a 360 vs PS3 thing.
6. There is no competition/rivalry between wookie and I. Remember we actually did work on the same rosters.

Sometime around opening day. Might be then, or around 2 weeks after that at the latest assuming nothing gets messed up

You're making a lot of enemies real quickly. Wookie's always liked to do his own rosters and I respect that - some people have different preferences on stances/attributes but both guys have (this is an assumption) a mutual respect for each other.

Bottom line is if you don't want Knight's/Wookie's rosters then don't use them...In any event, you're not doing any legwork for them so as momma says, "Stay out of the kitchen until the dinner's ready."

Can Knight or anyone tell me what the ETA is on any versions of Knight rosters? I've been looking through this thread and havent been able to find any updates in the last few days. On Sunday, Knight wrote that he was a team or two from being done and then later in the week he wrote that work held him up and he was still working on them..

Anyone have an idea when we will have a version to use? Are we waiting on the full version or is this just the version with the top minor leaguers on each team named? Thanks.

aholbert...you misread what I posted!
I was 2 teams away from being done with....all the 40 man rosters for each team........the 50 top prospects ....with the lineup "fix"...not from being totally done with those teams! I'm not a machine!!!
This was with the updated pitch base from Razr and his guys(totally different from the A.L. one I was doing just for "practice" and to show the lineup fix)
Once I got the updated pitch base from Razr...I had to redo everything I had already done in the A.L. Only set(totally different roster .....he was working on the pitch edits for the "real" Full Minor set, while I was fiddling around with that A.L. only set waiting for it from him....there is one point of confusion, I'm sure)


I am on target for release sometime shortly after Opening Day.
I have to see how much time Strut needs for the stance/motion update....as I would like to get it out with everything intact already.
I also need a few updates from Razr I believe....

I've got a set right now with
-All teams with the correct 40 man rosters(all edits-faces done for those players)
-nearly 100 of the top prospects
-Razrs update for the pitchers
-the lineup fix
-and already some fill in players for the AA teams

Once teams start setting their ACTIVE rosters....I should be able to set the AAA pretty quickly and then fill in AA.

Hopefully there won't be too many teams outright releasing players(but rather putting them in AAA) .....so I don't have to use too many fake players(when I run out of editable guys)

Just wondering Knight, but did you base your rosters on the default that came with the game or with an updated roster from SCEA?

Any interest in uploading that so people who don't care about 100% rosters would have a much improved roster than the SCEA one to start their franchise?

EDIT: Also please put Jeff Manship on the Twins! He's a stud and I played with him at ND...he's a great guy. I also got to play with him on the USA 18-under team.

He's the #14 prospect in the Minnesota farm league, but he's 24 so they view him as "old" now haha.

Hi Knight,

Please don't take this the wrong way. I have no problems waiting patiently for your awesome roster set. Is it possible for you to upload the roster with that you mentioned in this post to the roster vault? I'd like to start a franchise to mess around with a bit. If not, no worries I'll patiently keep waiting.
