      Ryan Theriot= Xavier Nady

trust me on this Nady's is spot on.

It is open like theriot actual stance, bat movement is good, and it also has the foot movement like his

I found Delucci, Dukes, and Soto to be the closest to Soriano. I'm using Soto personally, it's not perfect, but the bat position seems ok, the feet placement is solid (not closed enough, but still looks good), one handed follow through, leaning over the plate.

Anyone have any attribute edits for Micah Hoffpauer? He doesn't have enough power with the stock ratings imo.

Look back a page or two in this thread and Rod_Carew has some based off of last years AAA and limited MLB numbers.

Those are the ones I've been using. They seem pretty good.

                      Re: Chicago Cubs Roster Thread

If anyone is interested in a SCEA 4/27 roster set for Opening Day (Smardizjada in AAA, Vizcaino in MLB, A-rod in minors, etc. (I did leave Ichuro and some other guys up if they only missed a few games)) (or set for best roster (let me know, I can set that)) that has the entire AAA Iowa Cubs players, and all uneditable players out of AAA and AA, let me know and I will post it here.

The AAA is the actual Iowa Cubs roster, and not prospects. Lineups set for R vs L and Pitching rotations are done for both the MLB Cubs and AAA Iowa Cubs. I tried to match potential but it is more based on who would most likely get the callup in September (Brian Snyder, Jake Fox, Jason Dubois, Sam Fuld possibly) or who was on the Cubs 40 man roster (Jeff Stevens, Mitch Atkins, Marcos Mateo, Justin Berg, etc.). I did give Josh Vitters a B potential even though he is in AA.

I have named the AAA players (the Actual Iowa Cubs roster based on their roster this year), gave them their correct biographical information, faces, and positions. I have not changed any pitchers pitches, attributes, stances, or apparel yet, but you can do that as you see fit. Hidden positions were also not edited. Faces are very good on some (the AAA starters mostly), and some were done quickly (bench players), but they all have the correct skin color and look like them to a certain degree at least.

MLB Cubs all have old batting helmets.

Micah Hoffpauer was edited using Rod_Carew's CAP. He is the only MLB guy that I edited for attributes since he is sooooo far off in the SCEA version in my opinion.

Stances and deliveries were edited for all guys that did not have their own in the game if they were listed on the first page of this thread. If they had their own stance or delivery, I left it alone (even if it was listed on the first page of this thread), with the exception of Soriano, Miles, and Fontenot (I did not like their stock stances and used the first page of this thread for that) if I remember correctly. I also used the first page of this thread to put in all the clothing/apparel edits.

AA players are fictional, but all editable. The only AA players I did were Jeremy Papelbon (B potential?) and Josh Vitters (B potential) so far (faces too). I will continue tweaking this for a while, and it will be an ongoing project for me, but if you want it, it makes a great base for the Cubs fan, and has all stock SCEA pitches, ratings (except Hoffpauer), etc, and of course no Career Stat glitch since it is based on the 4/27 SCEA roster. AAA players attributes will have to be edited yourself. I have not done that yet (or may not do it). I just wanted the correct guys in there so that if they get called up, then I can focus my attention to editing them. No other minors are done at all for any other teams. No "dummy" players were created, so you may want to throw a few in there before you start a franchise.

I will probably work on the AA roster next, but I am not sure if I will have time to do so. I really really respect what Knight has done now even more. It took me forever just to do the Cubs AAA! Like I said it is a good base for a Cubs fan to tweak who doesn't want the career stat glitch. Knight's minors for the Cubs will be much better especially the one he releases that doesn't have the career stat glitch.

Is it possible to edit player's faces? I was trying to find a way to fix Soriano up, yet it doesn't give you the option to in the edit player screen.

Absolutely not (read the post, it states what I edited, which was only equipment, the stances I listed, and Micah). You would have to do that yourself. I left it this way in case some people want stock pitchers. I may end up editing it a little bit myself later, but probably not unless I dump Carlos' Cutter. I will try to post it tonight or tomorrow hopefully.

Guys what do you think should be Carlos pitching repertoire. He has so many pitches. These 4 I think he uses the most.

                              4 seam
                              2 seam
                              slider
                              splitter

should he have the cutter, curveball, change?

Does he have a slider or slurve. From what I have seen and heard he throws a slider and occasionally a curveball, but not a slurve.

Any thoughts on whether he should have a 2 seamer or a sinker. In real life he throws it like a 2 seamer, but it has more sinking action than some people's 2 seamers.

since he does throw that 'occasional' curve, I've been going with the following arsenal since '08...in the very order listed:

                                2-seam

                                slider

                                running fastball

                                cutter

                                splitter (which is his change)

                                r
