Load a saved roster and the stats are messed up (the easiest to identify is A-Rod and Tex seeming to be swapped). The workaround was that if you download an SCEA roster and THEN load a saved roster the glitch wouldn't occur, I believe.

Make some edits to the base roster and then save. Load it up and it will likely be screwy (I said base, because the 3/23 update apparently doesn't have the problem and eliminated the workaround for older rosters)

EDIT: To clarify, the issue seems to happen with loading rosters, at least those prior to the 3/23 update.

easiest way would be to download a roster file load it look at arods career numbers as well as others.

Hi Russell,
If you load up the game and then just load a roster, (without connecting online to SportsConnect) even the official 23/3 roster and check out A-Rod's history stats you'll see they're wrong and all out of whack. This applies to loads of other players too

However, if you go online to SportsConnect, it will "apply the roster update", you needn't save it though...log out of SportsConnect and then attempt to load the self same 23/3 roster, the stats are now correct. Any roster not based upon the official 23/3 roster won't load the stats correctly though - they did prior to the official 23/3 roster update using the workaround, but this no longer works for these rosters..it's only the ones based upon 23/3 roster that this workaround still applies.

appears to glitch the stats in Ridin's latest as feared........trying again just to be sure......seems like every update glitches any previous rosters......

yup........fire up game, connect to SC, applies Apr 6 update.....exit......load Ridin's 3/23.............A-roid 10 career AB's, 4 hits, 0 homers, 1 RBI........thankfully I saved a couple franchises with both Knights 40-40 and Ridin's 3/23 based update released this weekend........weirdest gosh darn thing.......

This is really disheartening. I hope this gets patched because as small a thing for some this is HUGE to me! I need correct stats playing multiple seasons also playing a season mode would drive me nuts if they congratulated AROD on his 10 hr or something stupid.

agree........I know for some it won't bother them at all but for some reason it drives me nuts to have all the historical stats incorrect.......so, for now, I'll 'chise with either of the saves I have using Ridin's or Knights 40-40 from a couple weeks back and hope there is an eventual fix so I can use Knight/Struts/Razors finished version in a couple weeks..........

Anyone have the scea 3/23 roster and tried loading that and then the work around?

Check that even older scea rosters are affected with the bug.

LOL. I feel like I did when I couldn't get the NCAA 09 rosters to work right until the patch came out. I'm gonna put this game down until something gets resolved somehow somewhere in my lifetime.

Ridin thanks for all the hard work I can only imagine how frustrating this is for you. If we only knew the root of the problem maybe we could work around it. If it is like this every week then there is no way to make rosters and have legit franchises, the game would lose a lot of luster to me.

I am gonna see what plays out with the next patch and next weeks roster update..IF they fix the glitch with a patch or that update I MAY turn around and bust out a set with those rosters...they will have all the missing players and rookies...we'll see
