hey ninjoid question who have you seen get hit with the glitch beside arod and texiera? im using ridin second to last one and so far i only notice arod that it.

Off the top of my head from the yanks you have swisher, melky, gardner, molina, AAA shortstop and a few others. Basically half the team stats are all switched. I am sure other teams have it as well.

damn, i guess i just start franchise anyway. that was a lot of work i had to do i really dont want to not do franchise. i look at griffey and he was ok that why i ask was just a nyy thing.

Tom Glavine is messed up on mine, i am using the same rosters I believe.....not sure but I am using one of his latest sets.

I just started looking into rosters, so excuse my ignorance....but can somebody give me a brief rundown of what this historical glitch is all about? I keep hearing about it

pbz06, On the newest SCEA rosters, the historical stat glitch is fixed, but if a roster was started on an older broken roster, the workaround no longer works and the glitch is still there. For instance, Knights rosters has the glitch.

Basically, guys like A-Roid have the wrong career stats on these older based lineups. It bothers some people because they want to see the milestones.
SCEA has fixed this glitch, but the old rosters like Ridins and Knights have the glitch because they didn't want to start all over again with newer SCEA rosters.

I think Wookie doesn't have the historical glitch, but I don't use (they may be good, but I have never checked them out) his so I am not sure.

Was it confirmed that it is fixed? Because every roster release has been the same way...Any roster based off the newest release will have the correct stats if you use the work around, but once next weeks roster comes out that roster no longer will work.

So yes this week's roster will work...for now...Ridin is working on a new roster set to have finished by this weekend.....Save many, many franchises...because the only way I see this fixed for custom rosters is through the patch.

Correct...Correct and Correct....it is not fixed..just temporarily fixed with the workaround which after next weeks update will noyt work....so im tryin to bust out a good set with todays update before the weekend.....

Pardon my ignorance but this historical glitch has me a little confused...I go online, the update applies itself...I log off and check the roster and it looks good, make a lineup change and save...now when I load this roster the glitch is now there.

When the update applies when you sign on, shouldn't the default roster when you start the game be the newest one? It seems the only way to have the glitch fixed is start and save a season or franchise while online, is there no way to simply save this update and play an exhibition without having the glitch?

NO the newest roster wouldnt be the default save. you always have to load the roster. when you go online and you have to save the new roster then sign out then the new roster should be there if it done by sony. if you talking about custom rosters that always has to be loaded

This is just weak. I used the workaround to start my new franchise, but now instead of the historical stats being off, the league ranking for last year's stat (Sizemore 5th in AL in SBs) which is highlighted in yellow is being applied to this year's stats in my franchise.

Stats are pretty much everything in baseball to me.

you cant use the work around anyway.

This is a separate glitch and was in the game last year. If you played any exhibition games prior to loading your franchise (within the same session of gaming) you'll get the highlights from previous years leaders.

If it's the same as last year, then firing the game up and going straight to starting up a franchise should avoid this.

I appreciate you chiming in on this. I'll have to check this out tonight. I did play an exhibition game last night before diving into the franchise. I wondered why I didn't see that in my first franchise I played.
