i am pretty sure if you just load rosters from the memory stick do not use sports connect at all, you dont have an issue. SCEA latest roster update seems to have killed the workaround

If anyone has Knights rosters (The AL Test ones) on a memory stick, can they post them here? I dont have them and obviously going on SportsConnect kills it.

Callmetaternuts, I am pretty sure they were posted somewhere here in the rosters section already. Not sure if you can do the workaround without going online.
No one has confirmed that just loading an older SCEA roster is a workaround (I suspect it is not).

I think Ninjoid may have stated this doesn't work (loading an old SCEA roster) on his first page (but, I am not sure). And if you just load Knight's it will have the historical rosters glitch anyway since he used a roster that had the glitch.

OK, I tried to load the last SCEA roster first (the one before this update screwed up the historical workaround), then Knights AL only and it still had A-roid at 203 HR, so it doesn't work. So it only worked when you went online, so now of course it doesn't work now. No biggie to me really, just checking it out.

Beat me to it Dr...I agree...loading the 09/03 SCEA roster followed by Knight's doesn't work...bugger...

Is it confirmed the 3-23 update has correct historical stats? When I updated with this it showed A-Rod having 0 career homers and Tex with 553

The new roster is correct..the old one was as well, it's a display bug showing the historical stats....

If you're using the new official 23/03 roster then the workaround will still work to get the historical stats right...I would recommend using it and then loading the official roster that you'll have saved on your HD...the stats will then be fine...it's a problem if you don't go online first before loading.

well i havent touched sportsconnect and every roster i have loaded off my memory stick has come up good. Everytime i connect to sportsconnect and it says applyng roster update, even though i dont save it,the roster gets messed up, workaround or no workaround. Before the 3/23 roster, the workaround worked for me. Right now wookies roster is the only one that hasnt been touched by the glitch. I know Knight and Riding are working on updating theirs.

Im so anal about having all the right players and stats that I cant start until we figure out this workaround thing. Its driving me freaking nuts.

I hear ya same for me. If it turns out there is no patch or work around I am going to take the SCEA opening day rosters and make my own roster set to have correct stats. Cannot stand to have so many people with wrong stats if it was one or two would be one thing but not 1/3 of the players.

I've just tried to edit the 23/3 update as best I can (basing some ratings from Knight's) so that at least some of the lineups are correct along with all of the stats.

Guys...I have been working on the 3/23 update and hope to have a full version with all minor leaguers and fixed lineups out by opening day...no stat glitch here!

Todays roster March 30th, this should have the correct historical stats as long as we use your workaround in the first post yes?

Reason i ask i have only been playing exhibitions so far, playing with the 23/3 update from SCEA i noticed Glavine only credited with something like 8 career wins on his player card

Psy! The roster itself is fine (the 23/3 one) it's at the point you load it where the problem lies....if you do the workaround and load the 23/3 roster and check the stats I'm sure it will be good to go...I've just checked SCEA and there is no roster update today - there will be one for opening day.

I'm using the 23/3 roster for my franchise and it's fine...it's when it's loaded that causes the issue...following the workaround should resolve though - but that's only for either the official SCEA roster or an edited roster based upon the 23/03 update...does that make sense?
