    Love the 80 Phils!

Would love to see the 64 Phils in the 60's-70's set (Dick Allen, Johnny Callison, Bobby Wine, Tony Taylor, Jim Bunning, Chris Short, Rick Wise, Ruben Amaro...). Now that's classic baseball!

      Hey Knight.

Quick question, looked through the many pages but couldn't find anything. Where are you finding the pitch selection for the pithers from all these teams? I've looked all over the internet and found nothing. Thanks in advance.

          Knight,
I don't usually contribute on message boards. But, I just have to thank you for these classic teams!!! Although I love "The Show", I'm just not much on today's MLB. However,I do love playing with these classic teams. And it doesn't hurt that you include my all time favorites: The 86 Mets. I look forward to seeing what else you have up your sleeve!!! Especially the 80 Phills. Can't wait to use Carlton, Schmidt,
Pete, and "The Bull". I know this is a massive undertaking, and I appreciate you sharing your hard work with everyone here!!!
          Regards,

That Phils-Mets game I played last night....was like a little time machine(I played it in Shea)....but if I was able to play in the old Tiger Stadium......or play a '55 Dodgers vs. '51 Giants game in the Polo Grounds!...FORGET IT!

My best source....1. Because it pretty much has everyone...and 2. Because you can figure out what look the guy had in certain years as you line them up is www.checkoutmycards.com .........It has tons of baseball card pics...you can see the faces and the accessories in the action shots for particular years. Great resource.
Just search for the player by full name.

I have a question. Is this sub-set going to be just '60s-'70s? Because I would love to play with the '59 White Sox. With Aparicio, Fox, and Pierce...
Here is an interesting fact: Nellie Fox struck out only 216 times in 9,232 career at-bats. That's once every 42.7 at-bats

                          1. Steve Carlton and that slider will kill you.
                          2. Make a mistake and Mike Schmidt will kill you.
                          3. Hit anything NEAR Gary Maddox and he will catch it(and kill your rally)
                          4. If you see Tug McGraw...your chances of winning are dead.
You'll never have so much fun with death and destruction.
                          Enjoy!

                          Mo....beautiful!.....SAVE SOME OF THESE!

I agree I'd love to see them include more classic stadiums. Before I got my PS3 last December, I was heavily into the mods From MVP Mods.com. But I've spent far more time this past month or so playing "The Show" with your teams.
I'm just amazed at the accuracy and detail of your teams. When I first got the game I tried creating my some off the hall of famers not in the game and failed miserably! That Lenny Dykstra is work of art!!

Yes! Thank you, Knight. I believe I'll pit them up against The Big Red Machine tonight and see how they fare.

Did you decide on who you were doing next?
