I actually had him created...and thought the Mets released him, so I changed him to someone else.
I have to recreate him.

(insert sigh here)...I swear.....SCEA is having teams sign these guys on purpose to break my balls!....for three years I was shuffling around Russ Ortiz...Ramon Ortiz..and others...all guys SCEA made and I couldn't edit....only for them to be released and FA's...taking up valuable space....NOW I gotta create these guys

I can't add more players.....only change them one for another...
Basically, it's the same as v1.....with just the AAA and AA set much better(it's a kind of mess as far as who is on what level and the lineups that are SET in the roster control screen...that doesn't matter right now..the CPU will set them to what they want anyway)...
..and some faces reworked(I did them on a crappy monitor and couldn't see them that well)...

Other than that, it's v1.
I wouldn't even call it v2....more like v1a

MK, there are some SPs who will get subbed out by the CPU. Oakland comes to mind. Perhaps make Gallagher a RP now, or he subs out one of the newer kids (forget which one) when you go to franchise. I should have written them down.

Oh, Texas is another. Jennings will pop into the starting rotation unless you make him a RP.
I'll look through it today and send you something. Hopefully a patch release real soon will eliminate the need to do this.

Yes...just like the lineups...the CPU is looking and will put into the rotation the best SP's available at any level.
That's why I want to set the lineups rotations as per real life, so that if the patch fixes it....they are already good to go.
I don't really want to change regular SP into RP though...too much for the USER to keep track of(to change back) and I definitely don't want to make anyone a lesser pitcher just for the rotation.
I guess we gotta live with that until the patch ...
Thanks for bringing that up though, I forgot to mention it as many guys have PM'ed me asking why I have so and so in the AAA rotation(an injured player) and when I tell him I don't.....they usually respond back..(wow...I checked the AAA rotation screen and he's listed as the LRP....why is the CPU starting him?

Another note

I started a test franchise last night and as I play/sim each day I read through the paper(in the game....I REALLY hope they expand this section) and the League Roundup section to see the transactions.
About three days into the season.....Brett Gardner got injured and the CPU did indeed call up A-Rod...so for the guy who asked me...does it have to be the same position player getting injured for those call ups(the star players)...I'm saying no.....IF the player is rated high enough....because I saw that for the Angels....Vlad got injured and the CPU called up Terry Evans instead of Reggie Willits(I'm pretty sure Willits is listed to play RF also in the game..I didn't check though)...I'm guessing because they are close in ratings and Willits is a primary CF where Evans is a primary RF.
Just thought I'd throw that out there!

Is Strut going to add his stances/deliveries to v2 (or v1a)? I played a game with the Marlins noticed Bonafacio had the Generic 1 stance, along with a few others.

how is it that in your rosters the coaches have fake names and in other rosters they are real, can this be fixed in the patch?

So Knight, has SCEA confirmed that the patch will definitely address the lineup issue?? I ask because I've not heard anything about what the patch will actually fix.

I agree with you 100% on this. Let's hope SCEA patches this lineup/rotation problem. I really think they will, so this is the best route to go. If they don't then we will just have to make adjustments down the road.

No....I'm just guessing that if they fix CPU ROSTER CONTROL to being on...it will also stick the lineups at least to start a season(then the CPU may make adjustments(if you have CPU OFF....remember....last year if you set the lineups/rotations...even with CPU ROSTER CONTROL OFF...it started the season with the lineups you set and then it made adjustments as the season went on where as this year it changes them from Game 1)..

About the coaches...I believe if you do the work around for the stat glitch(which doesn't fix that)...it also fixes the coaches(which I believe someone said works!)
My guess is....SCEA changed something with the sets after the base set I used...and somehow changed the coaches.
