Knight, thanks so much for the rosters!

I just finished putting in all of the walkup music, that was a chore! I couldn't imagine making rosters would be like... so again, thank you!

I just downloaded knights rosters can someone tell me why nick adenhart is still in the game i know he just passed is that a tribute rom the ppl of the show or knights keepin him in out of respect i have no problem with it im just curious

Tribute, and he did pitch once for them. These are opening day rosters.

Yes...sort of a tribute.
He was there for Opening Day...and that's how I set these anyway..but.....I should have noted that...sorry.
For me..I'm going to let him play this one season and then take him out of the game.

So first all, these are much much appreciated Knight, glad I can finally get my franchise started. But I don't recall, but I downloaded the rosters off the vault and I checked A-Rod's career homers and it says he only has 221...I thought I remembered you saying that this glitch wasn't in your set? Not too big of a deal I suppose, but I'm just wondering.

Nope.
Absolutely made it clear that the historical stats were switched around for some players.
I have asked them to look into it and I'll let you know what I hear when I do(or can)

As an Orioles fan I am a little disappointed with the absence of Brandon Erbe and to a lesser extent Jason Berken. Both should be in the AA rotation and Erbe is a top 10 prospect for the O's, not sure how he didn't make the cut. It seems like the O's AA team really got the shaft with too many hitters and not enough pitchers. 10 pitchers and 15 hitters is kind of silly.

Make your own rosters then.

I just updated this entire roster through todays transactions.

I got to the SF Giants (last team) and something strange.

I have 13 fielders on my ML team and 11 pitchers. I cannot find Merkin Valdez in the PITCHING ROTATION screen, but he's on the ROSTER MANAGEMENT screen as on the ML team. It's not asking me to correct this error because I've only got 24 visible players on my ML roster when looking at the two screens (pitching rotation/lineups). This is strange.

I went into FRANCHISE with this roster and he's there??????? BOING!

I quit the FRANCHISE, reloaded the roster, and he's not there. I've moved all the pitchers around, but he has disappeared. It's not affecting franchise as he's showing up.

On the pitching rotation screen, choose the bullpen side and go all the way down. For some reason, Valdez is hiding in the Giants 40 man rotation in the bottom. Put him back into a MR position and it should be ok.

I went and started the Giants first franchise game and he's there, quit the franchise, loaded the roster, he's not there. I demoted him to AAA and he showed up on the AAA pitching rotation screen, then brought him back up and BINGO, heeeeeeeeeeeeeeee's back, whew!!!

Nothing to see here folks, move along, move along.

Great job on the roster MK!!!!!!

I tried that, moved everyone around to see if there was a player on top of him. I got it fixed though, thanks for helping.

But I do think that with all the work he put in, bringing up inaccuracies in AA is being a little nitpicky. But is well within your right and you did bring it up in a mature way.

My response was immature, I am admitting that.

I thanked Knight in my response because I love the rosters he and the other guys worked on.

I DID NOT respond to Murph because he did not thank Knight. However, I did more maturely say why I responded to him above.

But as an aside to you? Even though he doesn't expect retribution or thanks since he is so humble, do you think it would be wrong for us to "get down on our hands and knees and praise him?"

Its not what he wants. But these guys did such great work and took up so much of their time to do these rosters it should be worth something. I know I am grateful for their work.

Hey Knight, I am going to use your roster and edit every single person's secondary position because I couldnt stand seeing Brad Ausmus playing SS when Furcal got hurt. I don't how much or little this effects people, but I just can't play a season knowing Thome will see some games at 3B.

That is the nature of the beast, to strive for complete accuracy, and this thread is supposed to be for these types of suggestions. The pedantic arguments over what player should be included as the final member of a AA roster are what having a "full minors" roster is all about.
