Is there a roster version that has everything except Razr's Pitch Edits? Or what version is the closest to that?

Yes.
In the Vault they are v4b.....

What exactly does V4b contain or what page is the description on?

4b is the stock pitchers with the lineup fix.
The opposite of v4 which has the stock ratings from SCEA for the position players.

Okay...

If you are using v5...then it is Andy Green(IF) for Valdez(SS CLEVELAND)
If you are using v2updated(non patched games) then it is Jason Cooper(LF) for Valdez(SS CLEVELAND)

Then you can edit Green/Cooper into either Niuman Romero(SS) 6'1" 200(#2 skin)Throws-R Bats-Switch(very average player all around...good hands but range is iffy for SS. He's swinging a hot bat right now and I don't have much info on his contact/power).....OR my preference
.....Cord Phelps 2B 6'2" Throws-Right Bats-Switch...and above average player....nothing spectacular, but solid all around. Big guy(frame...will grow into it) and projects as a solid power guy. Can still make the plays. Good contact also. Strong arm. Tick below average speed but runs the bases very well.

When the Nats draft Strasburg (which they will do), do you have a spot all picked out for him to edit over top of??

No, nothing specific, i was about to edit the ratings for some Rays (from the SCEA roster with updated ratings) , to get better performances in certain areas out of em, Bartlett for example.

No, nothing specific, i was about to edit the ratings for some Rays (from the SCEA roster with updated ratings) , to get better performances in certain areas out of em, Bartlett for example.

I can tell you this..
The CPU will look for it's #3 hitter first. Usually best contact+power combined vs LHP and vs. RHP.
It will then look at the next best contact hitter for the #2 hole...and the next best power hitter for 4.
USUALLY it will take the player with the best speed for the lead off spot. This is regardless of running ability and aggression(those will factor into stealing directly).
The next best power guys will usually go 5-6.
The best hitter combined contact power NOT in the lineup already will then be chosen for the DH. If you want a guy to DH .....pretty much exclusively....and he plays multiple positions, you can put him at any one where he is sure to be the second best hitter at that spot. Defensive ratings are not factored in lineups at all.

Great info Knight! Thanks. That explains why I see alot of catchers in the minors batting 2nd,3rd,4th in their lineups, sure enough, their contact #'s are higher than other players.
