Hey Dodger,

Is there anyway you could put this file in the Vault? Also, would there be anyway for you to add Knight's version of Stephen Strasburg (Or any other recent draftee) to a full minors file? Knight released a file with the top 20 draft picks around June 14th, I believe? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT to make this a little more clear...

Knight, I sent you a PM regarding this as well.

I am having a hard time keeping up with all of these rosters. I just finished my "practice" run of the first year of a franchise, did the offseason to get a feel for it, and now want to start a "real" one now that the kinks are worked out.

Are there UPDATED versions of Knight's rosters out there? I have been using, and prefer to use V. 5. I noticed Wake uploaded an updated set to the Vault, but it appears this is V.2. Now, according to the sticky thread, V.2 does NOT have Strut's stances/motions, but DOES include Razr's pitch type edits. After downloading Wake's update to V.2, it appears that this is completely backwards. There ARE stances/motions, but it does NOT appear to have pitch type edits. Can anyone clarify what is going on here?!

Also, how in the world do I make the post-trade deadline moves? I have tried to do the Aubrey Huff to Detroit for Brett Jacobson manually, but I can not find Brett Jacobson anywhere on the Tigers roster. Same thing goes for the Ivan Rodriguez to Texas because I can't find the kid that Texas gave Houston for Pudge. How do I get the proper guys on the proper teams? Unless of course, there is an easier answer to this, and I am just missing something in the 211 pages of posts!

Another example is the trade deadline deal Detroit made with Seattle in sending Luke French and Mauricio Robles to the Mariners for Jarrod Washburn. I can NOT find Mauricio Robles in ANY of Knight's rosters...in any version?

How in the world did you manage to make Pudge a Ranger and Huff a Tiger when the players they were traded for are not in Knight's rosters? (ie...Brett Jacobson from the Tigers to Orioles). I can't figure it out?!

Jacobson is nowhere to be found, how do you get Huff from BAL to DET?

I'll be completely honest....I only care about the MLB rosters being accurate and those minor leaguers were nowhere to be found on the roster so I just traded different AA players that played the same position as the real guys traded

I know this will really tick off people that follow the minors but I had no choice

This is why I can't wait for Knight to do another official updated full minors set that will include all the minor league players that have been involved in trades

Also I believe that Wake did use Knights V5 roster set and just made some additional pitch edits to RAZRr's edits and updated player ratings

I'll take a look and see which version I have before I update them to the Vault

OK I added the updated v5 rosters to the vault for everyone that was asking and confirmed that they have RAZRr's pitch edits and Struts stance edits

Hey Knight, great work with the roster.

I was searching this thread the last 100 or so lol, but I couldn't find the right version that I want.

This was what I wanted before I start my 09 franchise:

1. full Minor players (correct names and such)

2. perfect opening day roster for all teams (like accurate pitching rotation, accurate batting order so I can start the season just like the MLB)

3. pitch edits and correct equipments and appearances and such

4. original attributes from SCEA


What I found out by myself was that the closest it can get is V6. But I didn't find many people talking about V6, only V5 and V5s. (I dont care about lineup glitch and stat glitch)




Now my question is:

1. is the v6 the closest I can get with your roster?

2. stat glitch only actually matters if you play 2 or more years correct? (because I'm only gonna play 1 season, as I'm gonna play another 1 season when MLB '10 comes out. so it wouldn't really matter how many Arod hit a homerun for his career)

3. I see people talking about stamina a lot, but can't that be fixed with the slider? as I'm using PerfectSliderv1.3 or something

4. in the Roster Vault, I see your roster V6 being the most downloaded, far ahead of V5, and yet everyone in this forum only talk and go with v5. What is going on? For people who downloaded v6, are people like me right? going with the SCEA authentic attributes.

5. For the rookie drafts edits, do I have to have my franchise as CPU Roster Control On before I even start the franchise? also, they can't play this 09 season anyway right? if so, then I shouldn't worry about them.


I'll be greatly appreciated if you can answer my 5 questions. Thanks so much and keep this great work! (I used to edit and publish rosters with soccer game so I know how you feel about authenticity)

One more suggestion for Knight:

I play Pro Yakyuu Spirits 6 also (Japanese baseball game)
and this year the game came out during the middle of the season.

So all the attributes of the players were adjusted during the middle of the season so when you actually simulate the season, you get pretty much accurate outcome of the players stats at the end of the season. (this year that is)

What I was suggesting was, since the show also upgrades the attributes of all players every month nowadays,

would it be difficult to make a roster with all of your features included, as well as attributes reflected from SCEA to be into your rosters?

Well, it'll be even awesome with your v5 and/or v6 roster with SCEA attributes right before the all-star season, so when you simulate or play a franchise, you'll be able to see the actual final stats of the players pretty much accurate than the first attiributes SCEA offered at the beginning of the season.
(for instance, since I'm korean, Shin-Soo Choo from Cleveland is now a 4th batter with better attributes than the beginning of the season, so that it deserves to be a 4th batter) (well not that much but better than the beginning of the season as well as injured players this season who didnt do a good performance get a lower outcome of the stats at the end of the season when you simulate the season)

I mean it'll be an idea to just use SCEA roster but it doesnt have full minor and equipment and such perfectly like yours knight!

Dodger I still haven't been able to get the rosters to work. The V5 in the vault is that up to dat MLB rosters also? I will try again when I get home. This is frustrating though Ill let you know thanks for all the help dodger and Knight =)

Yes....it sounds like you want v6. It has all my full minors....all ratings...names and faces completed for every player

Yes...but you can also raise the durability of players to help with that.

That's what it is probably. At first everyone wanted the lineup fix...now that they have been shuffled so much....people probably just want SCEA's ratings. The only reason I changed any ratings were to fix the lineups...NOT for gameplay reasons.

If I'm understanding you correctly...you won't need CPU ROSTER CONTROL on.....you'll be editing the players after the draft anyway. The only reason you might want to control all the teams is to make sure that each team gets the "correct" potential players(meaning Washington needs an A prospect pitcher ....etc)...but it's likely to happen anyway....and yes...they will not play in '09 or be available until next season.

Hey Knight,

Will you be including any of the draft picks in future roster sets? I know Drew Storen is pitching really well for the Nationals and has already been promoted to AA. I've been going off of the top 20 you posted in June, and they have worked really well for me.

Also, would you be able to provide any help with a Bryce Harper CAP? I know he's only 16, but it would be interesting you see where he stacks up with some of your current top prospects. Link to Sports Illustrated article on Bryce Harper:

In the roster I posted, they included some of Strut's stances, but I changed a lot of them, plus included the minor leaguer stances as well. It does include Razr's pitch edits (i.e. the original Knight's V5 in the sticky thread) but I did change some of Razr's pitch edits as some I didn't agree with or I watched video/gametape and changed it accordingly.

hey UNC, rosters are pretty good, but one suggestion, umm garret jones, you have his power correct, maybe a little too high, but he isnt any average hitter. I'd say his contact should be like RH-55, LH-50 or 60/55 max.

He's still pretty consistent, hitting about .300 so I'm pretty happy with it...so far. :wink:

So far, at least my franchise, the stats are playing at fairly consistent. For some reason Chad Gaudin is one of the leaders in wins but otherwise I'm content...I just have to find a trade partner for Derek Lowe and his 6.15 ERA.

**I'll check out the roster you posted Dodge, but I've stopped roster critiquing and actually started my full franchise (I'm now in the middle of May in my Braves franchise ). Knight is the master so I'll resort to personal & privite changes - I apologize for any damage to Knight's creditibility/roster.

wake your back from the dead i taught you was gone anyway how u been im guessing u know about dodger osfullminor v5 update but he forgot to add padilla to dodger and bill hall to mariner also wagner from the mets to boston and livian release from the mets can u update it and post it in the vault
