Hi, sorry but I hope I don't sound like a &^%$ here. I was on PS3 sabbatical and I think I'm ready to start playing my Franchise again Anyway, the last recent roster update I saw is V7 on sendspace...but I'm wondering, is this THE official release from Knight or will it be on the MLB Roster Vault? Judging by the thread, it sounds like there's still some fixing up and minor edits happening? If its not the official, I think I can wait for that final release....

It's not just a question of dropping them.
I need guys that I can CHANGE into the players you want....that means lining up potential ratings.
If those are still the guys...I'll have it tomorrow sometime.

I agree with dropping Mota and Adduci, but I would personally keep Smith. He's been a beast at Daytona and Peoria over the last two seasons and could possibly see time in Tennessee this year (sooner rather than later). I would swap out Matt Camp as he's just another SS on the roster (already have Flaherty and Castro, plus the addition of Spears and Blanco), so he's not really gonna make much noice (in the game or real life).

Knight, Great job on these rosters.Thanks....I wanted to create Stephen Strasburg, I have found a few threads, however I find the stats provided for him are over blown. How would you rate him?? If you would not mind listing his ratings it would be appreciated...Thanks....

Sounds good to me. After I posted that I looked up Smith and he does look good. I'll PM Knight and make sure he gets that. I will put Matt Camp for Blanco.

Sorry to get a little off topic but, What is you guys feeling about Darwin Barney? Should he be in or not. I ask because I can't make up my mind. I like having Flaherty and Castro but feel he probably should be in.

I had Barney on my initial suggestions for Knight's rosters, but after the first release, I'm not really sure where he would fit in. He's not as highly rated as Flaherty and Castro, however he is starting at Tennessee and could make in to the big leagues in a few years. Who would you drop to make room for him? Flaherty and Castro are top 10 prospects, so I wouldn't remove them. Marquez Smith maybe? I think there's just enough SS on the roster, that there's really no more room for him.

I would maybe also add James Russell to AA. If I remember right, he was a top 15 prospect last season and he was also the Opening Day starter for the Smokies this season. He's struggling right now, but it'd be nice to see him in. All I know about him is that his curveball is probably his best pitch and that some people thought he could have been on the roster this season (not sure why they thought that, because he's off to a slow start in AA, but whatever). If you do decide to add him, my suggestion on who to switch out is Sun-Min Jung or whatever his name is.

No blasting in my threads for legitimate questions!

As coachpars said....especially with the Yanks....getting a player injured will usually do it(if it's a top rated player..like A-Rod..usually any injured player on the MLB squad will get that call up...but if it's a lesser player....it may take an injury to that particular position in the MLB)
I just note Ransoms durability...drop it and then when he gets put on the DL....put it back)
(note:...this doesn't always get the guy injured )

I actually think this is one of the few things that SCEA does poorly. DL managment.
First...I think we should be able to "injure" a player at any point....pre-franchise(giving him a pre-existing injury) and any time during franchise(be able to go into the editor...give him a pulled hammy and choose the length of the injury).
At the very least...if SCEA actually gave these guys there pre season injuries and then put them on the DL on the rosters ...then the CPU would automatically make the move when he is healed and wouldn't sit in AAA forever as it stands now.

Yea all that would be nice. I would like to see real "living rosters" in the future where guys performance, injuries, etc could be based on how they are doing in a season based on date as an option. And you would be able to use them in a franchise by "importing" like someone else mentioned in the patch section. A good way of implementing it would have to be well thought out, and they would have to make sure QA was strong on that, or we would see even more stat glitches due to the database accessing incorrect data.

When do you think the stock SCEA stock SCEA pitches roster with your minors will be done? I may wait to start a real franchise on that one or maybe the one with stock scea player ratings and Razr's pitch edits, I haven't decided yet.

What about the one where you do your own attributes on the MLB players? Quite frankly that one tends to play the best and I would like to wait for that one, but I would imagine that is far off, correct? When you do that one will you use the stock SCEA pitches or Razrs or both?

To be fair....a bit back in the thread...I said I don't mind as long as the file name has the OSFM or OSFullMinors(preferable) in there somewhere.

I will have the stock position players tonight.
The pitchers take a bit longer.....When I begin them...it'll be two or three days. I'll keep you posted.

Actually...I think in between I'll do one set with my personal edits.
This way...I will have for download
-Lineup fix/Razr edits
-Stock position players/Razr edits
-KnightEdit/Razr edit
-Stock position players/stock pitchers
-Knightedit/stock/stock

ALL with the Full Minors!
If that's not variety, I don't know what is!?
