Knight, for Jon Jay (Cardinals) change his skin color to skin 5, give him normal skin complexion, no blemishes, a fade hair style, no sideburns, change his eyebrows to thin long, raise them about 25% and you will have an almost perfect representation of him. Since his skin color needed changed, I thought I would give you a few extra tips for him. The faces, from what I've saw, look great.

Another minor thing that I noticed is that Carlos Gutierrez has his sinker listed at 90 mph. It might need a couple of extra mph because his average speed for his sinker is 92-93. It tops out at 95-96 and it has a ton of movement. It's a plus plus pitch. I can't remember the exact way that pitch speeds work, but I thought it was 2-4 mph extra when you max out a pitch. If this is incorrect then just ignore this part.

could it make it easier for people to decipher the changes by calling v5, v2b? thus you know it stemmed from v2.

92-96 should be what it's set at if you want that full range

In v5 when Razr updates some pitching stuff, does that include the stamina edits?

A-rod had TEX stats with about 14 HR's by the middle of the season. I k ow that ratings are what matters, but this game is also stat driven.
I don't think it works that way Art, and if anyone knows it would be Knight since he has worked with attributes on this game for years now, its probably just variance withing that simulated season. Do a few seasons of these and do a few seasons of SCEA stock. You can't come to any conclusion based on one simulated season anyway.

                    Knight,

This is no biggie, but I notice in all of your Cubs rosters that C. Marmol is the closer. He hasn't been the closer except for a few situations this year when Gregg couldn't go a second day or he warmed up, sat down and Lou didn't want to put him back in because of his knee problem.

So officially Gregg is still the closer and Marmol the setup man.

Maybe you do this for balance, but on the Cubs farm system, Nate Spears, Jason Dubois that you have in AA, are actually on the AAA Iowa Cubs. Doug Deeds hasn't started much in LF at all. It has been Dubois in LF with Fox at 1B a lot or sometimes Fox in LF and sometimes Scales or Deeds at 1B in that case (then Rivas or Spears plays 2B).

Looking at the box scores the most common lineup (best case) this year for the Iowa Cubs is this:

                    RHP No DH

                    CF Fuld
                    3B Spears or Rivas
                    2B Bobby Scales
                    1B Jake Fox
                    RF Brad Snyder
                    LF Jason Dubois
                    C Chris Robinson
                    SS Andres Blanco

                    LHP No DH

CF So Taguchi or Sam Fuld
                    2B Bobby Scales
                    3B Luis Rivas
                    1B Jake Fox
                    LF Jason Dubois
                    RF Brad Snyder
                    C Chris Robinson
                    SS Andres Blanco

Of course there has been a variety of lineups, but looking at the box scores this appears to be their strongest most common lineup. Fox has been getting more time at 1B now than LF

Here is their most recent lineup from Friday:

                    IowaPlayerABRH2B3BHRRBIBBSOAVG Fuld CF401000000.217 Camp 3B401000002.333 Scales 2B411001101.303 Fox, J 1B401000000.420 Snyder RF401000003.297 Dubois LF402000000.400 Robinson C401100001.367 Blanco, A SS301000000.351 Ascanio P100000001.429 Reinhard P000000000.000 Waddell P000000000.000 Fox, C P000000000.000 Spears, N a- PH100000000.153 Hart, K P000000000.000
Nate Spears would normally be the starter at 3B lately (instead of Camp).

So also Deeds needs a second postition of playing 1B added to him if possible.

Don't know if you want to edit Minors anymore, but I know you wanted some feedback.

Great job on the Cubs minors . Playing with your minors will make a franchise much more enjoyable. Thanks again.

All his updates will have them...except, potentially, a very basic one Knight mentioned doing when all these are up to date and released.

The reason is all of these, while different versions, are updated from the same base, which was edited pre-patch and saved with the stat glitch. They became, unfortuantely, beyond hope in that regard.
Yeah, I realized that after I posted. For some reason my mind hasn't all been there on the specifics of the roster. I just remember that Knight said he would be transfering the old information (prepatch base with the new stock rosters) and figured it thus not have thestat glitch. However I guess he just edited ratings based on new stock rosters from 4-27-09. Eitheir way I am grateful to Knight, razor, and strut. They have done a great job and want them to know that. It just sucks that we have the stat glitch. I can get over the lineups thing, but for some reason that stat glitch really annoys me. Have a good day of playing the show today guys.

No, Knight is not going to start over. His work, combined with everyone else's, is way too detailed to start over.

Ridin said that he is making a new set based on an update that is stat glitch free. I'm not saying that his roster set is not detailed because I don't know anything about his roster sets.
Ridin's new set will be stat glitch free becuase it is based off the most recent update (4/27). his rosters are very good, and still come with real minor league prospects. at this point, if people really need to have a stat glitch free set then Ridin's is prbly the best way to go. IMO it is the second best set out there behind Knight's. And Ridin's should be released this week, so ive heard.

And all the talk about Knight starting over just to have no stat glitch is ridiculous! i cant imagine how much work he puts into all his sets, people cant possibly expect him to start over just so that guys like a-rod have correct numbers (which arent really his numbers IMO....steroids).

Almost forgot, when you make your own attributes set, I really think Micah Hoffpauer needs an attribute overhaul. That guy can hit waaaay better than SCEA rated him.

Knight, what will be the name of the roster with your personal adjustments to existing players? I thought that was version 5 but now I guess it's not. Just curious on the name so I know what to look for because that is the one I want to start over with.
