Knight, I have always been curious to see what your ratings would be for Stephen Strasburg. Have you ever considered creating him?

      Really?
Hey that's still good! (because I really don't want to edit any pitchers just to get the correct rotations! )
(and just to clarify...you were talking about the default ratings sets...right?)

Oh....and it looks like those that want correct lineups, do indeed have to use the lineup fix version...they change when you go to play a game.(actually in game)

Knight, I just tried a season with the patch and your stock set. Like I think you said earlier, the rosters revert to the computer's liking for opening day. However, I moved Soriano into the leadoff spot and simmed ahead to mid-June. He was still in the leadoff spot when I tried a Cubs-White Sox interleague game. To be sure, I selected to control no one. I also had moved Getz up from eight to two, and that change was still reflective.

When I tried this before the patch, Soriano would move back to No. 3 or No. 4 by mid June.

So, from what I've seen, the lineups with the stock set reset to have guys like Alex Rios lead off and Soriano hit fourth, but if you make the changes you want after the season starts, they should hold. Let me know if anyone finds otherwise.
After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!

It stays on the lineup screen, I think, but in game goes to what the CPU wants.

          I'll keep checking.

Wow this is really confusing me!! Yes your SCEA stock version.

Ok now get this: Started up a TEX franchise again and wanted to see if some of the other OD games stayed fixed with CPU ON.

So I went with the BAL/NYY game:

Before the game I moved the starters to Bass/Wang and moved Zaun to leadoff for O's and Ransom to leadoff for Yanks. Started the game -- ALL 4 PLAYERS WERE CORRECT. Both pitchers started and both of those players were leading off. WOW

So it appears its only 'OUR" Franchise where the lineup gets messed up for our opponent even if we set it before the game. But the pitcher remains set even for our game. This make sense?

I posted this in the patch forum, but if you start your game sportscaster simulater, and set your lineups there, then enter then game before the first pitch.......the lineups stay correct. You can also do this with computer vs computer games using 2 controllers so that Helton or whoever isnt batting leadoff, then simply simulate the game. That last part is a lot of work though, but at least you can have correct lineups for the games you play.

The in-game changes may be sparked by when the computer says "Player A needs a night off." However, I just played a game with the Angels and noticed Hunter was moved down without any other lineup changes. The comp may have swiped Aybar and Macier Isturis or whomever at No. 9 and I didn't notice.

I did just put the Yankees-Tigers game on. The Tigers' order of Polanco No. 2, followed by Ordonez and Cabrera didn't change. The Yankees had Swisher in at cleanup after I moved Matsui to that spot, which I think happened because the CPU gave Posada the night off and started Molina at catcher.

                    Yes...this is supposed to happen.
Then when everyone who is rested(normal lineup guys)...it should be back to what it was on Opening Day.
The only other thing is injuries/trades.....those will also have the CPU arrange the lineup as it sees fit.(which is "normal")

I agree with this, unfortunately when someone is tired, and if it happens to be the lead off hitter, for say Colorado, Helton moves to leadoff, but just for those few games, not the entire season. But that's the computer's logic, not a patch thing I believe.

Knight, pitchers are definitely sticking with CPU roster control on and off.

nope. stat glitch is still there. I think he'll need to start over with the 4/27 scea roster update in order to get a proper roster. That really sucks for him though...

I just spent 33 hours getting everyones equipment 25 man rosters Batting and fielding , # ect up to date on MK V1 , so I can only imagine how much time he spent on everything .
