Knight help me out on this....

I was going to go ahead with the new Version 3 (stock roster set). I understand it only applies to position players. On the pitching side of things, did you really tweak much of the pitching attributes or is it just the pitch edits that were touched? I have been reading that most pitchers lost the 4 seam fastball with this roster set.

I have one more suggestion if you do in fact create another version of your rosters: change Peter Borjos' (outfielder for the Angels) name to Peter Bourjos, with a U. Small, I know, but I just noticed it for some reason. This, along with my suggestion to add Brandon Erbe to the Orioles, is all that I can think of. Great job!

I am in the middle of tweaking Knight's roster for my personal use. I know you guys will be releasing a future version with edits to relief pitcher stamina. But, I was going to do this myself now since I've put so much more work on my personal set. My question is what baseline you guys will be using for the stamina? Are you guys dropping stamina down to zero for all the Closers, Setup guys, and the middle relief pitchers? And how much on average are you leaving for the long relief pitchers?

And thanks for all the hard work on the rosters this year!

I'm going according to Rod_Carew29's formulas

No doubt. My offense has taken a hit now that most pitchers' fastballs actually move, lol. It's a nice change of pace, especially with the elite pitchers having fastballs that run or sink 7-9 inches at the last minute. Now I see why scouts value "late life" so much--the ball looks like it's right there and destined for the bleachers, and then it disappears and you whiff or pop out.

I guess you're kind of alluding to the set that DLowery did.
I feel bad as I may have overreacted a bit.
I think the "bad day" excuse is lame...so I won't use it. But I guess I was cranky.
I was actually going to post something today....pretty much just asking this.
First....anything equipment/stance/pitch motion update....if you could wait until Strut gets that version out....he broke his a$$ to get that stuff together...and I was a little more PO'ed that I wasn't a bit more clear when I released the set...that I would like everyone to wait(for that kind of update) until he was done.
I was definitely partially to blame on that note.

The other thing is this....
I don't mind if anyone takes the roster and makes updates/changes/improvements...whatever...the only thing I ask is that you don't change the base name of the roster.
The roster is O.S.FullMinors....and then if you want you can add w/so and so updates and then explain your update in the box provided.
I didn't call them Knight165'sFullMinors for a reason....too many O.S. members worked their tails off...and when he renamed it to his own.....the fact that he simply credited me(and others)...gets lost....and gets lost quickly. I gotta be honest...it doesn't really bother me a lot(maybe a little) if they don't get associated with me.....but I didn't get to ask the other guys involved all around how they felt...

So am I "giving permission"....?(not that I really can)....yes....
As long as the parameters(simple ones I would say) are in place ....and that's gonna be on the honor system obviously..

My apologies if this has been answered, but what's the ETA for v3 (the one with your attribute edits, not the stock edits or lineup edits)? Also, will that have RAZr's stamina changes?


Also, RAZr, I'm trying to edit Pedro Martinez to make him accurate in his pitches and his ability, any suggestions?

There will be one final set(with the lineup fix....and my edits will be based off the same one) that will have everyone's final requests.
Those that didn't ask for some changes won't even know the difference(so don't freak that you are missing the "FINAL" version. ) ....it just exchanges some players for others at user request.

I'm taking a short (1 maybe 2 day ) break and will begin on it. It shouldn't take long.....I just put the list together...and it is quite a list!

True. Good point.

Those playing with the Cardinals will have to be very creative with the lineups because of the way that LaRussa shifts things around from day to day.

I started my franchise on monday, so before each game, i go and check how Larussa did it. Only problem im having is MLB didnt give the cards a day off forever, and most of my guys are tired. Not enough bodies to give everyone who needs a rest a day off. But PUJOLS rarely takes a day off, and in the game he can only play like 4-5 games in a row.

i noticed that with the first version, that some people did all the updated moves and called up all the A-Rod's and the Mauers to the big leagues. has anyone done that with the Stock set yet? if not, that's fine. i was planning on doing it tomorrow, but just wondered if anyone has posted any yet on the vault (i'm not where i can check it).

hey knight, I saw this asked but if I missed the answer sorry; my understanding is that the stock ratings out now(roster version 3) are only for position players not pitchers. They still have pitch edits. Will there still be a set with pitcher stock ratings. Thank you for all the hard work; I can't imagine
