No. I don't know. V4 and V5 will have stamina edits

A bit confused now looking around the forums today and seeing the stat glitch, etc. which is all new to me. My original franchise froze as I started it before the patch. I was almost to June too, damnit. Anyway...

Is there a Knight's roster without the stats glitch? If so, is there one that still has the regular/original pitches for each pitcher?

Hoping to start a new franchise soon!

Guys....sorry I haven't been on.
I'm stuck working and worse...I've got terrorist training for the next several days. I will be home two nights, but I don't know what kind of shape I'll be in to do much.

jd....v5 doesn't have my own edits...just for the lineups

Wake....v5 should have most if not all the proper stances/motions.
Maybe Strut can jump in here and answer.

I'll work on the non patch version next...I'll keep you guys updated as I get the work in when I can.

Broussard?.....I don't remember creating him ...where is he(in the MLB)?

The starters and main guys do have a specified stance but it's the 2nd-tier guys who have the generic stances...but hey: nothing I can't fix on my own! Otherwise the rosters are great, Knight!

I won't be leaving the starters as is but since there isn't a general thing for starters leave them at default.

No. Starter stamina is at 8 and so is manager hook.

Starters- Innings pitched (IP)/Games played (GP)+10. Adds 5 for complete games (CG). You have to move the decimal over 1 place to get the rating (ie 6.6 is 66)

Example- a pitcher has pitched 180 innings over 30 starts. 180IP/30GP=6.0 (60)+ 10=70. If he has a CG it would be 75.

Long Relief- 35 Max

Middle Relief- If games and innings are equal its 5. Moves up or down by 1 for each difference in either direction (ie 35IP in 36 games is a 4, and 36IP in 35 games is a 6)

Closers- 25 max

Specialists- ZERO

Razr asked me the same thing and I sent him the actual file (I don't have a word file typed out) to check it out beforehand. I did only the batting stances (since pitchers take forever to take care of) and mainly only the players who have video available on mlb.com which takes care of about 80% of the roster (since I don't have the $ or time to look at MiLB stuff ).

I'll pm you the roster and if you approve (don't want to do the work in vain...I'm kinda lazy...but what man isn't? )I'll set-up a word file tonight.

Also, w/regards to Strut, I appreciate your work - I remember you stating you had a lot of personal things going on which is understandable so I don't want to knock your efforts or undermine it.

So thank you very much RC....

Work is good. A little "spooky"...but good. I hope I never have to use any of the training I'm doing right now(well will be doing starting Monday)....because they briefed us a little and yikes. I can't say anymore....but we've already become complacent and it's going to hurt.

Back to happy thoughts!....where's that guy that hates my rosters!

One final question before I FINALLY start my franchise..............I have the V5 rosters and with all the tweaks made to the players should I just use default sliders now?
For instance the pitchers fatigue was adjusted so why do I need my reliever stamina slider at "0"?
I think that would throw off the formula used in the roster set wouldn't it?
Just kind of questioning sliders now that this final set of changes and tweaks were made.
Any Help?

I've done some extensive testing; and in my experience, I STILL see relievers going 3 innings consistently with the relliever stamina slider at 0. I plan on using RAZR's stamina edits (Knight's personal set based on v5 when available) and PsychoBulk's Perfect slider set to achieve realistic results. Hope this helps!

If it's your own team, whatever lineup you set vs lhp w/ dh, lhp w/o dh, rhp w/ dh, rhp w/o dh will stick.

Also, players will become tired throughout the season for all teams. CPU and Human controlled. The CPU will substitute in bench players to accomodate this, effectively giving the bench playing time.

Yes...

If you want to see a platoon....just set the player you want to see vs RHP or vs LHP to be slightly better at contact+power(combined) vs that handedness. Just be careful as if you mess with it too much...it will change the order.(and mess with the actual stats)
It will work for any team...anybody.
Another little trick is....to simply have the durability of the regular starter not too high...he gets tired and the CPU will replace him with the next best hitter that plays that position (as stated above)

I'm compiling a word file Razr...No use putting you & Knight both thru the misery - I'm still young so I can take it. The only thing is that I don't have many "suggested" stances b/c...
1) I can't remember
2) It's too time consuming.
