About the stat glitch!

So I downloaded the roster through SC, and Gary Sheffield had 100-something HRs. In the early versions of the rosters that I have downloaded here, he has had 499. So I tried that.
Yes, he had 499 again.

So if you can, I think the best way to get accurate stats is do download it from the link in the stickied thread. The stat glitch is still there though, like A-rod and Teixeira.

Some of you probably already know this, so look at this post as noob guide or something. :wink:

2 things:

1) forget any suggestion I made about making Ryan Theriot's stance 'Nady'. His original stance is much better.

2) The Cubs now only wear 'old' style helmets. All the Cubs in your roster are still wearing the 'new' style.

I was just going to post this. I went through and got them all myself. Why are we so picky? MVP maybe?

....perhaps there is another team that has too many pitchers and not enough hitters and one of the O's toolsy hitting prospects from last year's draft that are actually in low-A can be sacrificed off the AA roster.

Well the Pirates have 12 Pitchers 13 Hitters through out their system. However feel free to take Jared Hughes or Tony Watson. Whatever hitter you give them, if you want, rename him to Jarek Cunningham as the Pirates are missing him. Jarek would probably be a C prospect.

Pirates Opening Day Lineup needs fixed:
1. Morgan LF
2. Sanchez 2B
3. McLouth CF
4. Doumit C
5. LaRoche 1B
6. Moss RF
7. LaRoche 3B
8. Wilson SS
9. Maholm P

Actually Tree the opening day lineup was:

Morgan
Sanchez
McLouth
Doumit
Ad. LaRoche
An. LaRoche
Moss
Wilson

John Russell decided to go with Andy in the 6th spot because it separated the lefties Adam and Moss.

I was just wondering if this was goping to be the final release and if it is on the roster vaul;t thingy and I was also wondering if it was hard to download and what the name of the file is....again thanks for all the hardwork you giuys put in I can't wait to start my chise, I hope u don't get mad at me for asking this question

Hey Knight, I am going to use your roster and edit every single person's secondary position because I couldnt stand seeing Brad Ausmus playing SS when Furcal got hurt. I don't how much or little this effects people, but I just can't play a season knowing Thome will see some games at 3B.

That is SCEA that did that and I believe it's hidden with him
There are a LOT of hidden positions for players in the game. They will have no secondary set in the editor...and the only way to see it is to bring up the player card and flip it to see those.
(I'm sure you know....this is for others.)

I'm still shuffling around the AAA and AA rosters and lineups.
I know some guys either don't really go nuts about this and some guys will just do it themselves before they start and I did promise 10PM Sunday.
Everyone was in the set, so I put it out there(I seem to remember the same thing happening last year!)
I very much underestimate the time it takes to fix those correctly. Pain in the arse.

One note....
On Tampa Bay you will notice Morgan Ensberg.....HE IS EDITABLE(I had my special source unlock him for me.....just kidding....SCEA forgot to "lock him up" I guess...) He does have his service time and maybe options missing, but since Mo is no longer in baseball....you may want to edit him.
He is a C prospect

If you had PM'ed me about Erbe and the others....I certainly would have made those changes. As a matter of fact....there were a few B's left on Ari and Col who should have been C's and swapping one to make Erbe would have been perfect.
It's noted for a change.

Where is Casey Fossum for the Mets...he got called up for Figueroa and I cant find him on the mets or free agents...

he has been with the mets since before the game came out

You can...but only with what's in the editor.
That's why on some..I hesitant to do it.
So if a guy is a 3B but plays 1B and RF...but hidden SCEA gave him 3B(primary)....and then 1B,2B,LF,RF .....there is no way to give him his real secondary positions.

I fully understand about Ausmus though and I actually meant to change that one.

Just so you guys know....I don't mess with any positions unless somebody specifically got me info on it or I knew it for myself.....and that might have been 5 guys total so far.

so basicall in v2 and the other there will be minor tweaks, and if I start a chise with v1 will i have to restart my chise if i want to use v2 and so on, and can u tell us with tweaks will be in v2, will u add more players?
