While I agree that Joey G overmanaged and pulling Robertson was flat out ridiculous when the 2 spot in the lineup was passed (since he double switched Hairston, causing the pitcher have to bat, which ultimately got Cervelli up to bat and he looked overmatched....All I could think of was "Why not have Hinske?") and 3-4-5 were due up it made no sense...Ace and Gaudin (sp?) were all that was left in the pen...BUT....When you have a runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs 3 seperate times and strand them there, that's a game you'll more than likely lose.

My biggest gripe with Girardi tonight was that everyone and their monthers knew Gardner was going to steal, and he sent him anyways...I mean, not even letting them pitch out once before having him take off...Unforgivable...They caught him stealing ON the pitch out...I can't remember right now, but I don't know if there had been 2 pitches to the plate before Bret the Jet took off...

Tomorrow night the Yanks HAVE to win...If not, I think the Angels will take the series. AJ has pitched OK, but too wild and too many walks...and that was without the pressure of coming off a loss in the playoffs...I can't say I'm sure he won't wilt like flowers with no water...I'm still shocked Andy threw that meatball to Vlad...I mean, the guy swings at just about everything...My Yanks had plenty of breaks go their way today, and it was poor situational hitting, and Joey G overthinking, micro-managing...How do you go through 6 or 7 pitchers over the course of 3 innings, yet leave the one guy who had solid numbers against the Halos on the bench? If he was starting tomorrow, I'd see why not use him, but to say CC is on the mound tomorrow, I don't know why he pulled Robertson, and brought Ace in over Chad...

AND...I can't wait for the rosters...I can't believe I've had the game since it came out, and haven't played online once...(just a random thought that popped in my head).

haha...at least you Yankee fans have something to cheer!

Okay...parts of two teams left edit.
However, I do have work tomorrow and Wednesday....it should be better than Friday-Sat(where I was too busy to sneak any "work" in)....but no promises.
Once I finish editing...I need one night to do the levels, lineups and rotations.

Twins fans...I got Miguel Angel Sano in as a B

Nicely done. It should be a solid projection. There was a serious workout not too long ago with all the DR prospects and I couldnt make it because we had a wedding walkthrough. Sano was in the group and my "guys" had some good things to say about him.

That's generally the rule of thumb around here...But I've been a Yankee fan all my life, and for the first 17-20 years they were awful...Ken Phelps for Jay Buhner (UGH)...But growing up Donnie Baseball was my favorite player. I've only rooted for the Mets once, in the '86 World Series...Even in my 9 year old innocence, I had enough Sox hatred in me...I've always been a Jets & Knicks fan too, so until the Yanks went on the run from '96 through 2000 it was amazing...The first time in my life that a team I loved won...My stomach still turns when I see the Knicks and Rockets play...

So after that long paragraph, I'm an exception, and not the rule...What's odd is that most of my friends are also Jets/Yanks fans...

Re: Knights End of Season Set

Hey Knight, I have a question about the Yankees minor leaguers in your roster....I downloaded Ridins final roster, and noticed there were a few guys left out of his Minors (guys that have contributed this season in some way shape or form...I was wondering if you planned on putting Austin Romine (C), Zack McAllister (RHP), Seth Fortenberry (OF), Marcos Vechianacci (3B/SS), Jorge Vázquez (1B/DH) and Arodys Vizcaino (RHP) in the Yankees farm system....

Kevin Cash could be released, since Romine is a C+/B prospect who catches....Romine, Vizcaino and MCAllister are pretty highly touted...Romine is the only one who played in Class A, everyone else played in AA or AA...

Then there are guys like Kanekoa Texeira (RHP) and Ivan Nova (RHP) who are mid level guys who both played in Trenton this year...(I don't know why MLB.com still has him listed in the Padres organization...

It would have been really nice to have Class A teams in the game too, because no matter what team gets updated there will always be guys left off the rosters because there isn't any room...Or maybe adding enough room for 25 guys on the Class A teams, and leave it up to the user to move them where they would like....Too many names, not enough spaces...

I was just curious if you'd be adding anyone like the guys I mentioned above to the Yankees minors.

I'm not at my game right now....but off the top of my head...I know that Romine(C....I would have liked to have snuck Montero in as an A and Romine in as a B(on that note....too bad they don't allow for +/- added to the prospect rating) and McCallister are in. Vech and Vasquez were on my list...but for whatever reason...the Yankees had a lot of players already in the system. Nova may be in there also...but I can't be sure.
One more level(A) or even a 15 man "inactive" list in franchise where you could store some "extra" players would be nice.

ksig....You're club was in on Sano?....I know there was some talk of his age being a stumbling block.
To that.....I know he is 16, but as you guys know....you can only go down to 18....so you'll have to keep dropping him down a year for the first couple in your franchise(if you remember)

Knight, we were not"IN" on Sano, but we were all able to see him as well as others at a very big amateur workout. I think we would have had more interest in him if his price wasnt so high. I also know that the politics have 3B/RF anchored for the future if someone over at 3B starts living up to his potential. Three years and nothing that ever warranted a no. 2 overall. Lets just hope that he goes all Adam Lind this season or someone that was also taken no.2 "Moose" will take his job.

Knight, I know I've been kind of a pest with unusual player requests, and I appologize. But I have one LAST request, that I think as a Mets fan you could appreciate too.

                                Tsuyoshi Shinjo!!

After watching this video and cracking up it made me remember how much fun he was to watch.

I figure he would be a D potential with no real skill attributes other than speed and defense. It's up to you if you want to include him. If not I'll take a shot at makign him after you release the set. I certainly understand if you don't want to waste time making players that will never play in the Majors again, but you're just so good at it that I figured I would throw it out there. Thanks.
