So, does this roster tweak the stances, faces, pitching properties, etc.. for the already established MLB guys as well as the minor leaguers, or just the younger guys coming up through the ranks?

That's how I set these. Most probable for 2010.

Redding, Figueroa and Broadway down...Santana, Maine and Perez up.
Some guys I came across are now FA...but ended the season with the club, so I put them in AAA and took away their 40 man status(in the hope they go FA in the off season.

So you guys are just simming the season and just playing into the next season? The TV in the living room, where my brother plays the PS3 with, is really messed up. I'm trying to convince him to move the PS3 in my room so I can play here but there's really no room. My TV stand is kind of small, and I just put my 360 on the box that it came with... I gotta start looking for a new TV stand soon.

Knight already mentioned that he set up the mlb rosters as to keep it realistic. Hairston is a 3B in this set but since Nady took up one of the 25 active spots, someone had to go down. So you can either bring Nady or Cervelli(catcher) down.

For me, a good utility man is the ulimate piece to making a team work. So do whatever works for you. Two catchers are a enough for me.

I didn't get a chance to do ANYTHING yet in far as double checking everything.
Look them over....let me know if anything needs attention.
I already got word to lower Madison Bumgarners velocity a tad...
Knight... What would Madsion Bumgarners fastball velocity and control be .
I like to adjust it on my sf giants roster.

thanks for your reply... i did read Knights post about that, i thought Jerry was missing entirely.. i knew for ex. i Gardner wasnt on the 40man roster either and i wanted to bring up Gardner but I couldnt find Jerry and thought i was being smart by even looking through the ALL sort. Since you mentioned he's there, I went back and did find him (along with Cody Ransom (I'll pass)). I see Hinkse as well for RF. again, thanks for comments.

I think simming the first season is a great idea. And start off fresh in the off-season and start rebuilding your team. YOUR choice though!

                            SCEA Sports should hire him!

in batting attrib. what does Plate Disc. do, the higher the number the better the batter is able to lay off chasing bad pitches maybe? was wondering because Jeter is at +65. ARod is at +94 (wow).

Knight has a blog? Where's it at!?

I'm so thrilled to finally be able to play with this set. Great work Knight. I found a few little things that I could fix myself (mostly uniform numbers and such, no biggie), but I have just one question. Did SCEA remove Humberto Sanchez from the Yankees in the updates, because I don't see him anywhere in the set. If so, no biggie. I was just confused.

Also, the thing that makes me happiest is that El Duque is INDEED in the Free Agent pool. When you told me he wasn't I was so disappointed, so this was a nice surprise. Thanks again Knight, awesome set.
