He's not MLB ready yet though...
Darvish certainly is.
Sign him.

Re: Knights End of Season Set
What "funnies" are you talking about?
Also I wanted to know where you would go to find out what pitches a particular pitcher throws. Like for instance all the Minor League pitchers you created who you likely haven't seen much, or at all.
I've been creating players for the past hour lol
Right now I'm working on a David Wells, but I can't seem to find a good motion for him. So far I gave him Jeff Suppan's. (Settled on Aaron Laffey, btw)Last edited by gEO 3b 4; 10-25-2009, 12:54 AM.Comment

Sign him. So darvish is better sign than chapman.
Knight on your earlier post you mention your planning to make some correction. Are you working on it like chris perez on the cards .I was thinking of replacing him but dont know who any suggestion.Comment

i'm using him as a super reliever though he should probably start. i just want to keep the giants starters intact though (timmy, zito, cain, sanchez, bumgarner).
knight, thanks again for all your work.Comment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
I think he's just saying that Darvish is more polished and MLB ready. Chapman is still a bit raw. There's no question about his stuff, but after he signs he'll more than likely spend a bit of time in the Minors, as where Darvish would jump right to the bigs if/when he comes over.Comment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Darvish is mlb ready because he already has the mlb starter type stats, at least in this set. I signed Chapman to my Giants chise and he's going to be in AA for a while. He's just not ready for the Show.
As for the funnies..I'm not sure. I've scrolled through the free agent list and I don't know how many are real besides those with real face close ups.Last edited by layaway; 10-25-2009, 12:34 AM.Comment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
I never heard that. I know he said he prefers to stay in Japan for now, as there is still a lot he wants to accomplish there and if he does come it wont be anytime soon, but I could be wrong he may have said that.Comment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
As for the funnies, Joe Beloe sticks out. But there are others that I'm not sure about. Frank Bravo, Jessie James, Reggie Caruso, Marc Walbeck, Jimmy morris (not the former Devil Rays pitcher from The Rookie, right? lol), Damian Krause, etc. How many of these are intended to funnies, how are any real, how many are there, etc. I can't tell with a lot of them because there attribute totals are so high they blend in with the real players, so trying to differentiate is getting a little tough lol. Nice touch though Knight. Also whatever happened to Mendoza? I take it you forgot, no biggie thanks anyway. I already created him lol.
Oh, also. Is Chad Cordero in the set? I didn't see him anywhere on the M's. He was in the Opening Day set and has been in the organization all season (without a callup). Just wondering if you skipped over him or if I'm missing him before I go and create him.Last edited by gEO 3b 4; 10-25-2009, 12:55 AM.Comment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Knight, is there a way to take Heyward off of the 40-man roster in the beginning of the season? When I start my franchise, Heyward is on the 40-man in spring training, and I can't take him off unless I put him through irrevocable waivers. Thanks.Comment

Re: Knights End of Season Set
Hey Knight,
I'm not sure if this was mentioned before, but I've discovered that there are 2 Kevin Mulvey's in the game: one on the Twins and one on the Diamondbacks. Just wanted to let you know. Set is great, though.
Thanks,
