But then there's Derek Jeter who should probably be somewhere in the low to mid-80's but is 78. Then there is Robinson Cano, who is not too much slower than Jeter, but has a rating of 53. Now don't u think that's a little too low? Cano should be somewhere in the low to mid 70's I would think. You might think that Evan Longoria is not as slow as a 51, but more like somewhere closer to a 70. Jayson Werth who stole his fair share of bases this season, is rated a 59. Shouldn't he be in the mid to high 70's at least? Shane Victorino, who just plain flies, is an 82. Shouldn't he be at least a 90 or so? Ryan Braun is a 51. That seems slow to me. Shouldn't he be more like a 70 or so? I'm just thinking that for more realism in this game that the slowest player should be no less than a 30 or so.

Next time u play a game with SCEA's ratings, and u get a easy ground ball to the shortstop say hit by Jeter but u throw him out by four or more steps, does that seem "normal" to u? It should be a lot closer than that. I just think that player's speed attributes should be looked at more closely. Thanks. Later

I can agree with you 100% on everyone except Cano...i have the unlucky privileged of watching him everyday lol..and leave him right where he is LOL!!!!! he only had 5 last year and 17 in his career (stolen bases) IMHO i think SCEA got that one right at the least lol

Pitch type edits? Stamina edits? 2009 attribute edits?

any update? if someone is unable to finish the edits then they should pass the roster to someone who can so we can get these out and done already. Can't wait for the update . . . great work guys.

but yah....we cant play it until we do this cycle all over again, because mlb10 rosters will be awful lmao!! the Game great most likely but the rosters will be a mess..so 09 will keep you entertained until then

its all good knight, in fact the regular programming might interrupt perfectly with me being done with the pitch edits...I finally got another ps3 and we are a go for two nights of roster work and i'll be done...i'll have a list as well (as best as i can remember what i did)

Dear Knight and Third Degree,

Thank you for all your work on this end of season set. I am sure I will be using and enjoying this set until a full minors set comes out for the 2010 edition of The Show.

Knight, if you are still going to make any minor tweaking I would suggest for Joel Zumaya (Detroit) increasing the speed of his fastball to the maximum (I have seen that he can throw his fastball up to 103 mph and often averages 100 mph or more). At the same time I would suggest reducing his durability as he does tend to get injured more than most. It is just an idea.

alright fellas....first game played with the pitch edits/stamina edits version of knights eos is finished. I will be simming it once I get the roster back from knight with all of the pm's from v2pm and other changes...here's the box score, with me playing baltimore the loser (hey it WAS hall of fame difficulty!)
