Knight, first off a big Thank you for all the hard work you and everyone else did on the end of season rosters! I am having a blast with my Cubbies. One question though, in the SCEA rosters the Tigers had a 3rd baseman Mike Hessman, an actual player,not a created one. I can't find him in this set, he is really an average player but in my other franchise he was money for me off the bench. DO you know where he is? did you get rid of him?

I just restarted my franchise with knights latest set. I was currently at May 18 2010 of my Yankees franchise. I won the WS in the first year of my franchise and was playing along in my second season when I said what the hell. I decided to try Knight's set and I must say that i enjoyed the first game of my season. I am glad I restarted my franchise. I won 2-0 against that O's.

Just out of curiosity, what slider settings is everyone using for this set. I am using All Star with everything at default except for fielder speed which I have a 3 (3 clicks from the left)

After the FINAL end of the season roster update, which I'm hearing is a couple days away, I'll be playing with Psycho's slider set with Guess Pitch 1/4, auto base running (hate the controls of that thing), and Outfield pitching view... you can find the sliders in the slider subforum of this forum.

I'll be done tomorrow. Gotta do the AL West tonight. Monday's Saints game pushed the time table back a little lol Sorry it's taken this long. I'll have it posted by tomorrow.

What kind of edits are you doing Knight? Are there global edits done to players or just individual ones? Sorry but I just popped in here and this is a LONG thread.

Checked out the Tigers rosters and it was nice to see the main prospects in there like Scott Sizemore, Wilkin Ramirez, and Casper Wells. But the team does need some edits and I'm fairly clueless on what to change for baseball.

How does the arm strength rating work? Ryan Raburn is only a +57 which is way too low. He's not a good defensive outfielder (misses too many catchable balls imo, late breaks on the ball) but he has easily the best arm in the outfield for Detroit. He can throw a ball 95 mph and is accurate. In only 70 games in LF he finished 4th in MLB in assists with 9 (for left fielders only).

As for player edits needed, Clete Thomas, Ryan Perry and Fu Te Ni are rated too low. Marcus Thames is too high and Dontrelle Willis needs to be edited so nobody will ever sign the guy again. I don't think he will ever pitch in MLB again due to his mental issues.

Thanks Knight! If you aren't planning on editing these players, maybe a few tips for those that want to bump up/down certain guys would be helpful.

Knight i pm you on giants cap brett pill and francisco peguero that was recently added to giants 40 man roster. Is it possible i can get these prospect added if update is release.

yyhy can't wait to see what you've done with the attributes tonight!!!! I've def. postponed my franchise b/c of this & I will help you out and look things over for ya to make sure all is well as we are rushing you (sorry!) and doing some tweaks to make sure gameplay is even more realistic in franchise play. I will address players durability and the occasional fielding anomalies. as i did with my personal set (and i saw good results out of this) i will tweak everybody's durability down a knotch according to every team's injury list/disabled list in '09 and other errors i see. too many 99's for people in this game i believe....let me know if you guys want me to post this tonight (hopefully) when i am finished. for guys that play dh will compensate as well as i've heard they seem to tire unusually quick.

on the heisey/bailey/wood edit if anybody has followed what i've been trying to accomplish i think i will just leave that for those willing to do in their franchise (there are fake players added to the fa list everytime you start a new franchise). too many players already used and i do not think their is any fake players in the fa list that is a B or above potential that knight hasn't used already. unless anybody else has any solutions i wil prolly just spend an extra 20 minutes and edit those things myself when i choose the team to play my franchise with.
