Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
Sunday might be tight.
There is still a lot of clean up to be done....and I still have a lot of faces to do.
Plus the 40 man rosters and lineup/rotations need to be set.
If there is one tomorrow...it will be fairly "raw" IMO....
Everyone is in there right now...just needs some tuning and a lot of faces.
Just so you guys know.

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
in franchise is it possible to have those accurate 40 man rosters and lineups without having to do 30 team control to set them all at the end of spring training? i set all the lineups in my test franchise, simmed till the end of spring, and afterwards the CPU just changed them all, but i was just controlling my one teamComment

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
Just my opinion but something like adjusting lineups is something most people could do in a couple minutes, which is why it would be awesome to have the rosters come out tomorrow. Having full-named minors with accurate potentials is the most time-consuming thing, but I'm sure most people would be fine with tuning a few lineups here and there in order to get the roster file tomorrow.
Like I said, it's just my opinion!Comment

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
going along with what he said, the thing is..in franchise mode, there are going to be trades, there are going to be varying stats, having accurate lineups to the every real spot is GREAT, it's fun, but i think it kind of takes the variable behavior out of the game. if someone in a 4 or 5 spot is hitting .200 with like 4 home runs, why keep them in the 4 or 5 spot just because in real life they are? i'm a freak about realism in these games too, but i can live with things not being 100% what they are in real life, because i know at the end of the day, franchise players are going to change teams in my franchise, good players are going to struggle etc, and honestly i feel that's what's fun about baseball, the variables included. that's why i'm not really a big fan of 30 team control.Comment

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
FYI on the Cardinals (not sure if you've already updated):
Holliday is wearing #7, Felipe Lopez now changed from #8 to #3, Allen Craig changed from #66 to #8, and Jason Motte changed from #60 to #30.- RaptorQuiz

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
I agree 100%. And only speaking for myself, if you are thinking about releasing a raw set early I vote "yes!" The faces are the absolute last thing I care about. The names being correct and all of the other great stuff you folks have put together is all I need to finally start playing the franchise and RTTS in this great game. (I've been playing exhibition games for a month now)
I know there are alot of folks who want the faces and all of the batting and pitching quirks, but those are just like two extra glutinous cherries on top of an already awesome cake to me. I can play this game right through to March 2011 without them. So yes...I vote for a raw set on Sunday. (If it's even under consideration by our roster making heros.)Comment

I say you release them when you are happy with them Knight. These rosters got people sounding like crack heads.Comment

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
That post implies that people are pushing for knight and company to do something they don't want to do.
Your analogy is unfair and slightly insulting. I know I didn't say I want him to do something he dosen't want to do. I was responding to knights self professed thought process of possibly releasing a set without all of the faces, ect.Comment

I agree too, I can set all the 40 man, and I plan on manually going through and setting injuries to match real-world anyways. I'd almost rather you get through what you can by tomorrow and release the set without all of the faces, etc. then you can take a break, relax, and work on another set further into the season.
Just a thought, but it's your baby, so no biggy either way. I'll be busy most of the day tomorrow anyways.Comment

I don't think anyone would mind if you just skipped the faces part. We could always edit those ourselves.Comment
