The Brewers released pitcher Mike Burns today.

Also it is looking like Jim Edmonds might be starting in right field in place of Corey Hart.

It definitely will not be Garrison. I could see Liz going though

        Knight,

Detroit's active roster for opening *** is now almost set. It is:

        Jackson, A CF
        Damon LF
        Ordonez RF
        Cabrera 1B
        Guillen DH
        Inge 3B
        Laird C
        Sizemore 2B
        Everett SS

        Reserves:
        Diaz R / Avila C
        Santiago INF
        Kelly, Don INF/OF
        Raburn, R

        Pitchers:
        Verlander
        Porcello
        Scherzer
        Bonderman
        Willis

        Bonine
        Coke
        Fu Te Ni
        Perry, R
        Thomas, B
        Zumaya, J
        Valverde

Starting opening *** on the 15 *** DL (dating from 26 March)
        Seay, Bobby
        Miner, Zach

As for the minors, there seem to now be too many players so I expect some cuts by opening *** of AAA and AA.

Like I said before....as far as players...and attributes....the set will be completely done.
Hopefully I'll get all the faces in as well....but we'll go with what we got as of one of those days.
Either way....I'll be finishing up all the faces pretty quickly if I can't get them in the initial release.
          Everything is looking very good.

              Don't Forget:

Zach Wheeler - Single A Pitcher "As a Georgia high schooler, Wheeler seemed like the perfect choice for the Atlanta Braves at No. 7. But the Giants had other plans and nabbed him one pick earlier. He signed late, so he'll be making his official debut this spring. While he's big and has plenty of arm strength, Wheeler also has a decent feel for pitching. His command was inconsistent in high school, not uncommon for a youngster, but Wheeler gives Giants fans another high-ceiling arm to think about while watching the still-young guns excel in San Francisco."

Ehire Adrianza - SS- Adrianza made his full-season debut last year in Augusta, playing nearly the entire year at the age of 19. His glove work is unparalleled and no one questions his ability to be ready to play shortstop at the big league level one day. His offense has a little farther to come, though he handled himself well enough in the South Atlantic League last year as a teenager. He's a switch-hitter who makes contact fairly consistently. With his defense, he won't have to hit too much, but growing into his body some will certainly help his overall value.

Tommy Joseph, C: The Giants must love scouting Horizon High School in Scottsdale, Ariz. That's where Joseph came from, as did former first-round pick Tim Alderson. Joseph's calling card is his bat, particularly his plus raw power from the right side of the plate. He's not just a basher, though, as he has a good approach and setup at the plate. Joseph has a very strong arm, but he's relatively new to catching full-time and he isn't the most agile guy you've ever seen at catcher. He'll continue to work on his defensive game, but the bat will play anywhere the Giants decide to put him in the future.

Thomas Neal - OF - AAA Player - Coming off an OK year with Augusta in 2008 that saw him limited to DH and first-base duties, Neal exploded in San Jose as an everyday outfielder, finishing with a .337/.431/.579 line to go along with 22 homers and 90 RBIs. He finished second in the league in OPS and was a California League All-Star. Just 22, he'll move up to the Double-A Eastern League in the Giants' new Richmond home where he'll once again join Roger Kieschnick in the outfield.

              LETS REMOVE ANY REFERENCE TO:

Angel Villalona - (Any prospect in a MURDER case should be left out)
              ----
Via Extra Baggs, Andrew Baggerly's twitter account, MadBum averaged 91mph in his last minor league camp appearance due a quickened motion. Lets not dial his velocity down yet...

I'd still love to see which Giants have been included, if possible. I want to start planning who I'll need to add (hopefully nobody).

I have been playing this series for quite some time and I am glad i stumbled across this site looking for NFK2k5 rosters. I used to edit in key rookies around and for my Mets. I thought I was the only nut putting in guys like Ike Davis,Reese Havens and I even had Murph before he got called up.

Big thanks to everyone putting in work for these rosters. I can't wait to get plugged in after the season starts. Thanks again!!!!

But why not just wait for everything to be sorted? It just gets a little confusing when you have 5+ versions.
