knight, ksig, riddin and co...i know it's a busy time, but was wondering what you all were planning as far as the non-stock attribute edits. i think in the past that knight and jim had made some attribute changes to 'fix' some gameplay issues and also to be more accurate...is that the plan this year too?

Wow, every year it's the same thing. Give the lads a break.

Approx. 50 posts a day begging for the rosters (initial release, under the guise people will start a franchise). This followed 2 weeks later with the same people begging for the roster with all of the player/pitch edits. Then several weeks of the same members looking for the best slider set (because they've improved) and EVERY player edited.

If I may make a suggestion. Play the game as is until May, (or don't order it until April) get to a point at which your sliders are paralleled with your abilities (have a consistent feel/outcomes), and start your franchise when everything is released.

Coming here banging at the gate every 24 hours seems like a rather exhaustive process; moreso if you (as I do) plan on playing the game through December/January.

As a side note, I ordered the game today and will be dialing in my HOF set on par with last years; likely completed when Knights/Razrs and the whole crew's final set is released.

Brand new here. I know this may get a bit old to hear, but I just wanted to thank all of you that spent many hours working on these rosters. This is my first year of the show, so I've never experienced these rosters before, but from the sounds of it, should be nothing short of amazing.

Hey Strut will your pitching motion & batting stance edits be in the first release tomorrow ??

Also when can we expect RAZRr's pitch edits ??

no, I am going to hopefully talk to Knight and when the first version is out, Im going to grab it and work on getting stances/motions for the 25 man rosters first. I have a lot of the work done from last years edits and I will use some edits from the stickied page on the roster thread and then fill in the blanks hopefully in the next week or so. I plan on doing the White Sox and Indians first (since Im a Sox fan and want to give myself time to actually play the game as well) and then go alphabetical order when I'm done with those two. I also plan on updating players stances/motions if they change during the year or as guys get called up from the minors/DL in my IN SEASON thread that I plan on starting tomorrow or so. I want to see what Knight plans on doing w/ guys who are starting the year on the DL (Reyes, Cliff Lee, Kinsler etc).

I popped in MLB 09 tonight just for fun and used Knights' final roster and boy was it fun. Every team had all the real prospects in their place except for a few lineup mistakes which is easily fixed.

Non sequitur:

I don't really post much (obviously), but I've used Knight's rosters for the last couple years, and I just wanted to say thanks for the work that Knight, KSig and Ridin have been doing. It's really phenomenal.

Franchise mode--the only mode this snob uses --is made playable, engrossing, and worthwhile by the time and effort of the guys responsible for the O.S. rosters. The rosters enable true engagement with the simulation, and that's made me a happier gamer and a better baseball fan.

That the strictures of MLBPA's licensing requirements limit SCEA is unfortunate. But Knight's work redeems those absurdities, and in so doing, I think, redeems the entire MLBTS franchise. Since about May 2007, I've bought four video games: MLB07, MLB08, MLB09 and MLB10. That's not an exaggeration--I wish I had more time for the console. But I'm absolutely sure that I'd quit MLBTS altogether if Knight, KSig and Ridin stopped doing their thing.

So, thanks.

just DLed a roster on rostervault titled OS Full Minors and noticed the Sox had no Ryan Kalish, Schoenweiss etc...still an ok roster obviously not the real OS Full minors roster. Buyer beware.

morning everyone, thanks for all the hard work. this is my first post and i just have a simple question. when i connect to the internet at my home it moves way to slow (to the point where stuff freezes) so i disabled the connection to the PS3.

is there a way for me to download the rosters via this board to a USB and plug it into the system to upload? if so, how would i go about it?
