A big thanks to knight and the others for working on this roster. I used knight's rosters last year and they were fantastic. As a lifelong Jays fan I can't wait to see names like Wallace, Drabek, Stewart, D'Arnaud, Arencibia, and others on the club's minor league teams instead of the fake names that are currently there. I wish I could help out with the rosters and I'll post what info I can (I follow the Jays' minor league system pretty closely) in the near future, but I use a Mac so I can't use the RosterTools, unfortunately.

Here's looking forward to enjoying the fruits of your labour yet again this season.

We are going to wait until Monday.
We are still going to shoot for something close to Opening Day.
Between Ridin' and myself working on the East Coast...and then shooting it to Ksig who can work for another couple of hours West Coast(at times...when he's available)....we should be pretty quick with this.

Thanks man seems like alot of hard work and its very appreciated...Last year on mlb 09 the show i took all of the fake named players and named them the team they originated from like (first name) Atlanta (last name) Braves and then as a guy got called up jus edited these guys. Lemme get to my question...when ur finished with the rosters how will i upload them or will it b in the sportsconnect with all of the roster updates? Please let me kno as soon as you can, i kno ur hella busy....thanks

First off, thanks to everybody working on these rosters. Also, i'd like to offer to help with anything you guys need with the Jays. I posted some delivery/stance edit suggestions on the resource board yesterday and will probably put more up today if I have time. Is that the best way to go about this to help you guys?

Thanks Knight... I'm going to wait for the rosters before playing franchise mode this year. Usually I dive right in, but with the mention of franchise glitches, some roster issues, etc., I'm going to wait for your's before getting set.

I have a question for those of you who worked on rosters last year:

Are roster files affected by future patches? In other words, if I finish a roster file this week, and the 2nd patch comes out in April, will I still be able to use my custom roster with the new patch?

I'm not sure if one is affected by the other.

I'm not sure if one is affected by the other.

Normally, I would have said yes.
But if you remember the stat glitch last year...that wiped out any rosters pre-fix.....they had to add files.
They may do the same this year...since there are two rostouers out there with bugged potentials.
I don't know how the fix is going to work...but if it involves changing some files...your current ones may not work if it involves updating your game.
I don't know...just a thought.

Hey Knight, not sure if you saw my post (easily overlooked in this big thread) about whether players born inside or outside the US will be accurate in your roster?

This would be great so that we'd have correct Futures Games at the All Star break. not a very big deal, but having Jason Heyward being on the World team for example would be weird lol.

also...how will you determine which prospects to add to the 40-man roster in the game, if any. the reason I ask is because if they are not on the 40-man roster, you won't be able to use them in Season mode for potential in-season call ups.

when you start a Season mode with a custom made roster, unless the prospect is setup on the 40 man roster BEFORE you start the mode, that prospect won't be in the game nor can you add them.

so say you create Jason Heyward in your custom roster file, and forget to add him to the 40 man. you go and setup your Braves season using this custom roster file...you'll find that Heyward is nowhere to be found in the Braves organization.

you need to add Heyward to the 40 man---which you then need to take someone off, adjust rosters, bla bla. then you start up your new Braves season and THEN he will be there.
