It's 2010, why can't Sony or 2K also find a way to license the minor leaguers?

Because they're not in a union, so they would have to licensed individually. That would be financially and logistically difficult, to say the least.

Actually, Kevin Millar is a different situation. He came into the league as a replacement player during the strike. The players that crossed the picket line during the strike were denied entry into the MLBPA. This is also true for Ron Mahay, Damian Miller and Matt Herges. Barry Bonds simply opted out of the MLBPA.

Yeah, but its the same principle. They are not in the MLBPA, which in layman's terms means, no vidja game for you.

Guys can we please refrain from posting things like "when are they coming out?' or "there's one uploaded on sportsconnect". That info is already in many places in the thread and on Knight and Ridins profiles. Posting pointless questions like that are only making that info harder to find. Thanks. btw I will be working off of Knight's V2 once that comes out.

heres what I'm saying. why doesn't SCEA release the game as is so they are in contractial obligation and then have a "person" who isn't "employed" by them already have the minors done and be downloadable from day one instead of relying on people like Knight and co to polish their would be turd of a game when it comes to rosters and lineups and etc. They have done basically nothing for the lineups since its release. I think its a great game but they haven't gone the extra mile like they could.

So are these rosters done yet or what? I keep checking the 1st pg, where I told it would be updated, but I have not seen it change yet, it still says "Opening day" is the target....

Unbelievable, you guys were warned several times - I'm closing up shop.

Knight/ksig/Ridin/etc... if you need to post or update, PM myself or any other Mod.

Guys....
I have to run out....not good.
I sent the in progress work over to Ridin'
He may work on it for a bit...and if so he'll release it in whatever state it's done right now.
This(or if I post what I have later...if Ridin' is not able to work on it a bit)....will be the early v.1 release....still raw....
If you are going to use this early release...
-You'll have to arrange the minor league rosters.....lineups and rotations(I just started them)
-You'll have to realize that some things on some players are not finalized(some attributes I want to tweak)
-Some faces won't be done(I have at least 5-10 per team done...and then entire NL East...and the entire pitch staff/IF of the Orioles)

The only reason I'm releasing is...I know that some guys want to go...and those that want v.2(which will be entire)...will wait for it.(some will use both)

Gotta run and I'll check in from where I'm going later to see what's what.

I know most of you don't need any explanation......
But I would like to thank you guys for your prayers and well wishes.
I'll just let you know....that Ridin' will just put some finishing touches on the early release and post it up here tonight. LATE.....wherever it's at.
It's pretty good....as is...
He would have posted it last night...but he got it pretty late from me when I ran out of the house very quickly last night....and we really wanted to get at least the AAA roster in some sort of semblance(the MLB rosters were set...but the minors were a mess)
For those that can't understand how nothing was posted last night....even though "we promised"....it's okay. I understand...I'm not angry.....just try and understand that even with the most important things(which this is not one)....something else will take precedent over. Every time.

What's happening with me and my family may not be remedied any time soon.
...and for those with extremely stressful situations...you know that it can snowball and actually cause others to be ill.....it's already been going on for some time and watching it effect my wife has been pretty horrible. You feel a bit helpless.
That's why Ksig and Ridin' have been a Godsend. Every time I wasn't able to work on these...they stepped up big time.

Okay...dont' mean to go on and on, just dropping a note on this.
I'll be at work(barring another emergency) for the next couple of days....so I'll drop in when I can if guys have questions.
Mods....you can close this....I just wanted to be able to get the info to everyone.(I know...not anything I haven't said already...but it gets lost in the shuffle)
