Im guessing that this delay due to the potential issue needing to be waited out that (quite understandably) this wonderful set wont now be out before or even close to opening day.

Show some patience to the great folks making this set, they will come through as always.

That can't be said enough. These guys do great work so there's no reason for anyone to want them rushed with all the issues this game is having right now. It would really suck if they started and had it all done for nothing because of SCEA updates to fix some things.

Someone quoted my post here and I want to add that there were other players whose potentials were raised, but because I didn't not initial have them in my suggestion, I can't compare them to my suggestion and their previous potential ratings.

As for the number of D's in the minors, it depends on the distribution (pitchers vs. position players).

I can't for the life of me remember how it worked out last year, but did Knight & co. release a few sets of rosters with a handful of teams minors done every so often until they released the full set? For some reason I think I remember grabbing a set that had the Yanks and a few other teams done to hold me over till the final set, of course I could be completely making this up, can anyone jog my memory?

Knight, are you going to address lineup logic again this year? The cpu still has a pretty bad lineup logic.

Okay...we're going with the 3/08 update.
If there are any "horrific" potential mistakes...we could easily address it...but you'd lose the pics and in some cases name references.
We can limit the impact of the "too many A's" somewhat, through moving guys around....moving guys to the FA list(swapping with lower rated players)......and making some far off prospects with higher potentials lower rated(some younger guys you might not have seen otherwise in the Full Minors) and have them in Single A.
We'll make it work.

Awesome ideas good luck!!! Anything I can do to help let me know.....

Also with the 3/8 update SCEA took away option years for players with 5 or plus service years so now established players cannot be optioned to minors without passing through waivers.

I would imagine only if it was something like last year where Dexter Fowler was an SCEA D while just about everyone has him as one of the best up-and-coming center fielders in the majors. Weird differentials like that probably would get created/generic players subbed in for the real players.

Age has a lot to do with it....
Have you checked the tweaked progression/regression system?
No longer do C's automatically "stay the same" or regress.
I just simmed a season to test some things...and a 26 year old C rated 2B just gained +4/3/3/4/5/5/5/4/4/4 to ConL/ConR/PL/PR/Clutch/vis/disc/dur/bunt
His fielding and baserunning numbers have also improved. He was +6 in overall.
I'm also looking at two B players 1 a 32 y.o. 1B who lost 1 point pretty much across the board and also overall and a 21 year old 1B who is a B who only gained +4 overall and his gains were less than that of the C 2B.....mostly +2/3/4 gains.
I also see that D guys may gain this year....I have a 24 y.o. D rated 3B who has a mix of +1/2....-1/-2 on his ratings.
It's much less automatic this year....training...and age are pretty big. With young guys for growth...for the older guys...to keep them at pace...and for the middle guys....a mix of both.

I'm not arguing that a certain player is not rated incorrectly or not....but I'm just letting you guys know what I've been seeing in my testing.

Knight, do you think it'd be a good idea to give some old and not in the game, pitchers A potential so you don't use them for undeserving prospects, ie mark prior, el duque, etc.
Also, the Japanese prospect Yu Darvish could take one of the As, I remeber you had him in your set last game
