So since you have Flowers in your positional top five, what are the chances he gets A potential?

flowers will already be in the game cause he played a few games last year. i dont think you can change players potential once he is created.

Knight when u buy the game do u actually play the game a bit here and there or do u full force into making the rosters.

          Knight, love the work.

This is a great blog ranking of the top 40 Twins prospects. The top 40 isn't complete yet, but it should be shortly and offers some great insight. Let me know if you have any questions on them and I'll do my best to answer them.

I don't actually play right off the bat.
I do sim about 40-50 seasons to see how the stats play out against the ratings...and against some players that I adjust to get my base numbers.
After that...it's straight on to editing until I'm done.
I can't play without the real players anyway....drives me nuts.

There are only going to be 23-27 A's available.
I don't know yet where Flowers is going to be in potentialland yet
(if he isn't already in like Kobe mentioned)

Knight, make sure you include Jonny Venters(LHP) for Atlanta. He should contribute to the bullpen this season, and is not just a lefty specialist.

I'd imagine there'd be more A's available with more spots open, but then I haven't seen the game yet.

Edit: I wonder if Franchise F/A will still have generic players with A overalls, that helped a lot last season, allowing me to bump up several player's potentials when i started a franchise.

Its answered on the main page but if someone wants to elaborate or correct me feel free...

You always have to restart your franchise when you change your roster..too hard right now to make it not a glitch fest...you're adding players that may not have been in the game previous..so where would they go and how would they have stats??...its just not a realistic option right now

I've got to contact Strut24 and see if his schedule will allow for stances/motions updates and see if dorismary has time for equipment updates.
Razr told me last year that he might be way too busy for his pitching edits this year...but there is a chance! We'll see.

Once I get the game in hand and Ksigs top 50 or 100 ....we'll be able to get this going right away.

Excellent! Thanks very much for the roster set as always Knight! Does this mean no stamina updates however? If so would you mind giving us the formula for it? Thanks very much and I look forward to opening day for so many reasons.

Rags...no...it's going to be about 25 or so....WITH all the A CAPS you can make.
I would love just 10 more!

Yes...you will get those extra guys once you start a franchise...so that's a plus still.

                            Knight,

Why doesn't SCEA just hire you to do all this work you do before they make the game? That way you can get deservedly compensated for the amazing work you do, as well as give us the opportunity to use these fantastic updates as soon as the game is released. It would also help that we could use these rosters online, with updates (from yourself, continuing to bring in a paycheck). You should definitely send in a resume!

**P.S. remember to make Jarrod Parker one of the Diamondbacks' top prospects, despite being out most (if not all of 2010) after Tommy John Surgery

Twins added a bunch of guys to their 40 man. 7'1 Loek Van Mil RP, Danny Valencia 3B(who could be with the club this year sometime) and Deolis Guerra SP, the only kid left from the Santana deal ( i dont count Humber, he is a AAA career pitcher at best) who at 6'5 and 220 could be interesting. Good year last year too. The easiest guy to create may be Martin Perez SP from Texas, they say he is a Santana clone right up to the delivery. Texas has 3 impact kids. Perez, Neftali Feliz and Justin Smoak. Little more than a week away !!!
