Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
I love Stassi and Green I have mixed reviews on. I believe I have them both at A. Now before you go all nuclear on me, understand Stassi is a very good catching prospect with big PROJECTABLE bat and Green was supposed to be a top 3 pick all season, the talent is there. Give the A's a little love even if Derek Lowe did the suck-it antic in the ALCS!Comment

The others....don't worry....but Putnam..cut as in gone?...I had him as a filler.

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
You guys are making Sergio Santos yes? He is a White Sox pitcher who was probably a SS in your roster last year.
He sits at 95-97 on his FB, and can touch 98. He also has a really nice slider to compliment. He throws a curve and change too I believe, it is not nearly as good as his slider.
"However, his fastball hit 98 mph during the 2009 Arizona Fall League, and he's added a changeup and a slider to his repertoire, and is considered a legitimate candidate to win a job this spring. "We are going to give him every opportunity to show what he can do," said pitching coach Don Cooper. "He certainly has a good, live arm. He's a position change guy but doesn't make me think he's a position change guy." Sox manager Ozzie Guillen is equally enthusiastic about Santos' progress as a pitcher. "I was really impressed," Guillen said. "Sometimes you see the guys making excuses, like 'I'm just learning.' This guy goes out like he's been pitching for a little while. This kid has a great arm. You don't throw 96-98 just because." "
And for a REALLY in-depth look at his pitches, speeds, movements, ect...
"The slider is the pitch that really jumps out for me and the 36.36% whiff rate is significantly above the league average whiff rate for a slider of 28.7%. For me, the slider is by far Santos' best offering, it has good movement, velocity and has been proven difficult to hit even in an extreme hitters environment."

I'll be keeping tabs on the AAA roster and the final cuts for the Padres. Should be interesting weekend given how some of the roster spot battles are still undecided.Comment

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
The pitch edits will be in a later release.
From Knight...
There will even probably be a version that just has some of the top prospect faces done while I'm working on the rest of them.
We want a playable set out for Opening Day.
Then the rest will be shortly following(faces.....stances/motions/equip.....pitch edits....then finally an updated attribute set...at least that's what I'm shooting forComment

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
Giants closer Brian Wilson is throwing Curveball (78-81mph) to go along with a cutter (low 90s), slider (88-90) and fastball (95+). Apparently scouts were impressed
Todd Wellemeyer will be the 5th Starter. Nothing official, just implied from his Spring and from Bochy's words after last night's game.
Thanks for the effort!Comment

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
Knight will have the minor league guys right in the first full release. Right after that I'll fix the major league guys. The mlb edits are the "pitch edits"My latest project - Madden 12 http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2043231648Comment

Re: O.S. Full Minors 2010
Knight...i enjoyed your rosters a lot for the end of 2009 when i finally picked up my ps3 and the show.
One thing i was wondering for this first set. It seems like there are more A potential minor league guys to edit in this year's game. Is it fair to assume there will be more A potential prospects in this roster set then there were in the last 2009 set you made?
If i remember correctly all created players were automatically set to A potential also...although i'm guessing you don't need to make many guys from scratch.Comment
