Couple of notes on the Mariners...

Released: Eric Brynes

Demoted: Matt Tuisiosopo (sp?) Triple A Tacoma
Demoted: Shawn Kelley Triple A Tacoma

Promoted: Josh Wilson
Promoted: Ryan Langerhans

Ian Snell is now in the Bullpen with Cliff Lee's Emergence.

Great work with these rosters.

'Bout damn time they did something. This offense is unwatchable at this point. Not like Wilson or Langerhans are saviors but Byrnes and Tui were brutal to watch.

Welcome aboard and thanks.
When I say we don't mess with the SCEA players, I mean that we don't change the ratings for any player that SCEA created. We do create/edit all the fake players in the game into real minor league players. For those guys we do edit their appearance and ratings to match the real life player.
If you play only season and not franchise....you will get some of our players(anyone on the 40 man who hasn't played an MLB game yet...SCEA does not create any of those guys...just guys with MLB time)...so you aren't getting the entire effect of the Full Minors...but you are getting some.
Give franchise a try(just give control of the trite stuff to the CPU!)...and enjoy all the minor leaguers in their glory!

Hey guys, you think it would be well worth it to wait until v2 to start Franchise or just go with v1? I've been playing the hell out of RTTS with both a SP and a 1B and want to try my hand at conquering small countries with the Yankees.

This is how I roll...

Use V1 for your fun franchise... 30 team control injuries on rock out while you wait for better versions of the roster...

Wait for Version 3? With Razr's pitch edits and all of everything done so it is the supremely awesome thank you for spending hours of life working on these rosters roster. With this roster you find the live update thread... 30 team control and you update current MLB transactions for each individual game. Keep updating and playing like an addict and you will eventually catch up with the season at which point you play one game a day right after you watch your team winning or losing that game.

It's like heaven in a video game.

Thus no one really needs to post about the Mariners recent roster shananigans or the fact that Wilson Ramos needs to play for the Twins every day (can he play 3rd?)... because there is a whole other thread for that where someone does it for you and these rosters are

opening day rosters...

this observation is made with respect to the Mariners fan who did that cause I love the Mariners too.

Tyson Gillies, one the Phillies top minor league prospects, is set black when he is actually white. Sadly this was only the beginning of a pretty common trend I found when looking into he minor league players in these rosters.

Many of the players had not had their looks edited yet with v1, just their names and maybe some ratings. With Knight going through all faces himself for v2, you can bet this will not be an issue whatsoever. He's a pro.

Yeah, I wouldnt sweat it at all. When we are dealing with 900 or so players some of them tend to be overlooked, but thanks for noticing. We all know who Gillies is and he will not go unnoticed.

Side note: Mike, Osvaldo Martinez from the Fish is garnering some attention worth noting. May want to reassess his overall game.

Knight how you thinking of handling the Pirates pitching rotation for opening day? Its been musical chairs. My guess is Karstens or Burress in the 5th spot since McCutchen has been demoted or is that for us to decide since the time machine is up and running?

Kevin Hart is out for the year I think.


P.s. on another note

Ian Snell being moved to the bullpen is a shocker.

I have a feeling the Pirates will be sniffing around Eric Brynes.

He looks either light-skinned black or mixed to me. When I looked at some better pictures of him, he reminded me of Blake Griffin who is mixed. I have 5 mixed nieces and nephews too... Think we've all spent too much time on this lol.
