    Re: All-Timers Teams

Nick Johnson played 487 games w/ the Expos/Nats and his career averages per 162 games is .270/19/79/.401.

Dunn has played 307 for the Nats with 162 game averages of .251/40/98/.381.

If I was playing a season with this team, I'd take Dunn 9 times out of 8.

You made a mistake there Joey.
You mean 10 time out of 9.

Sometimes I don't have a long attention span so I try to only deal with groups of 8!

Ok, I've been slacking again, but real life has been taking up my time and left me with little to work with here.

However, my goal is to have the 25 Man Rosters done by October 1 (when I will go on an extended break) and I'm hopefully going to finish up the Dodgers today and work with the Padres and Giants within the next week. The International team and the Negro Leagues may have to wait a while.

Again, had I known personal issues would crop up in my life, I wouldn't have attempted this, but I do plan on at least getting the first portion done.

I just wondering if you still have plans to do the 40 man roster if you were planning on putting Danny Jackson on either the Royals or the Reds since he pitched his best with those two teams.

I still plan on doing them. I haven't actually made out every team's 40-Man rosters yet, but I'll add him probably on the Royals since I remember him more from them, though he did have one monster season with the Reds. He'll be on one or the other, but I'm not totally sure which yet, but I am leaning towards the Royals.

Only a few Dodger pitchers left and I hope to knock them out today and then start on the Padres. may have the roster up later. We'll see.

Do you plan on releasing the finished AL + NL 25 man rosters or are you waiting until you eventually get to the 40 man? I'm currently having a blast with the AL alone so I'd love a chance to mess around with both. Thanks again for all your hard work on these this summer, please know that it was greatly appreciated.

I plan on posting the 25-man rosters to the vault so at least those who have waited patiently will have something to work with in the NL. I don't know if Joey would mind taking them from the vault like he did last time and posting them for download, but we should be extra nice to him so he will. I have still not located my flash drive, which seems to have vanished into thin air. But, I still have 2 1/3 teams to go before that happens.

Hey, Mysterio, no problem at all with posting a link once you upload your set to the vault. I usually check this board several times a day so I'll be sure and do that for you once you're finished.

I'm not sure if this has been asked yet, but I was wondering what version of Barry Bonds will be with the Giants? The young speedster from his early days or the bulked up power hitter? Or maybe a mix of both? Thanks in advance!

The great thing about downloading rosters is that you can make him whatever you want.

One thing I will do for sure is add anyone I think belongs but isn't here, and change any player if I think his ratings don't match what I think they should be.

That is true and I have been updating certain players ratings here and there. However I do enjoy seeing others opinions and why. Bonds is interesting to me simply because he has two completely different directions you can go in.

Sorry, guys. October is just a terribly busy month for me and I haven't had the time to do this lately. I will finish this, but it might be a few more weeks.

As for Barry Bonds, I'd expect more of the 'roided up Giants variety than the Pirates version.

Had a little time tonight and finished up the Dodgers. The Padres are next.
