Yeah, these really are great rosters, I was just shocked to see Dickey not there. Didn't want it to come off as me complaining.

To me, I am no Yankee fan, but I love their history. In reality, I think all 4 catchers belong, but I know there just isn't enough room on a 40 man (depending on who else you have).

Not complaining in the least. These are great. I'm glad AROD & Reggie are in the set.

The Yanks have had great catchers over their history. it is impossible to put together a Yankees all star team and actually put all of the all stars they had in one 40 man roster. I love the discussion and love to see what others think about the Yankees and other teams & players as well.

Keep putting out rosters and we'll keep playing them!

Being both a Dodgers and a Red Sox fan, I am like the anti-Yankees fan, but no one can deny all of the great players that have come through the franchise. Plus, as many years as they've been around, it's difficult to narrow down people. All 4 catchers I've left on the 40 man roster with Posada being a reserve, but they're short on 3B. 2B Tony Lazzeri also played some 3B, so I rationalized it that way as being ok with one less on the team.

I'm back to working on these now. Sorry it took so long, guys. Someone very close to me was informed their cancer had come back after years of being healthy from winning their first battle with the disease. It's been up and down ever since on the concentration front and I felt more needed elsewhere. I'm glad you were all so understanding.

Gonna try and get these 40-Man rosters done before the new game comes out. Will fill as many free agents as possible as well. There's still some decent guys that didn't get on any teams, so I guess I'll just post random free agents once I get the teams done.

I did download the other All-Timers set in the vault, by the way, and it's nice. If you like a good roster with doubles on it, it's probably the one you would enjoy more.

Wow, posts keep getting screwed up, so I corrected the Tigers reserves...yeah, I still plan on doing the Negro Leagues and International All-Stars (Japan, Mexico, etc.) for the Golden Era and Silver Era teams...I have the next 5 days off and no plans right now, so I'm planning on working hard on these for the next few days...

I'd give my vote to Ed Sprague over Eric Hinske @ 3B and Devon White over Shannon Stewart @ OF. I've been a Jays fan forever but for some reason I never liked Hinske or Stewart.

Not a bad idea on Sprague. I had totally forgotten about him. I'll add Sprague to the roster as Hinske was really just kind of an easy choice because he was already in the game.

As for Devon White, I have him coming up on the Angels 40-Man roster, so if you pick up the roster, you can just move him on over. Besides, even though I'm not a huge fan of Shannon Stewart myself, I really think he deserves to be on the team...

Going to wait until I have all teams done...this is just an informational list to show who will be on each team and where certain players will be located. I will probably post a Word document with all rosters once I finish up. But, if I can keep up the work, it shouldn't be long barring any more personal issues...
