Im tempted to start franchise with the poted file, but I might as well wait until all teams are complete.

Yeah, with just 3 teams to go, you may as well wait a couple of more weeks and use the completed file. That's what I'm doing.Currently Playing:

Re: Turn Back the Clock: 2000 Season Replay-A Subway Series
I couldn't wait to start my franchise with these and what a great first game I had with the Mets. The Marlins jumped all over Hampton in the 1st scoring 6 runs. The Mets answered with 3 in the 3rd 2 in the 4th. The Marlins countered with 2 more in the 6th. The Mets tied it in the 7th, the Marlins went ahead again in the 9th with 2 runs, the Mets answered with a bases loaded "walk-off" double by Piazza! What a great game! Thanks Knight. I will start this franchise over when Mr. Knight completes the set. Again, thanks for the great game.Comment

Re: Turn Back the Clock: 2000 Season Replay-A Subway Series
It's good to hear you guys are excited with this set.
This is by far my favorite set I've done in any game so far(with the POSSIBLE exception of the 1951 season set for HH2001(2 or 3? maybe?...can't remember now). The only thing separating that set from this one is the ability for me to enter the historical stats in the PC editor for High Heat.
Please...don't hesitate to point anything out if you see it whether it be "good or bad"....I don't mind hearing about any mistakes. I consider everything a learning process.
Okay....don't ask me how, but after one of the worst 24 hour shifts I've had in a LOOOOONG time, I came home from work last night and completed the 25+ starters for Kansas City. It was too late and I was too beat to test them out.
I doubt I'll get any more work in before my trip this week though as I'm back to work tomorrow for another 24 and then I'm off on the trip Tuesday and won't be back until Saturday.
Hopefully, I can get everything in by next weekend, but if not it will be mid week the following for sure.

Knight your hard work is truly appreciated. I promised to wait until you were done and it will be well worth it. I think this roster set will take me up until MLB 12. I thank you knight and my buddy and I are gonna donate (to a charity you mentioned). Can't wait to begin an Angels franchise.Angels= 2025 World Series Champions!!Comment

Re: Turn Back the Clock: 2000 Season Replay-A Subway Series
You are legendary Knight. Of all the games to do a complete historical season, especially one with such detail on even lesser known players, a baseball game is easily the most difficult. This is going to be keeping alot of people playing The Show until next year.Comment

Re: Turn Back the Clock: 2000 Season Replay-A Subway Series
Thanks Knight, ever since you came out that you were doing these, ive really looked into the 2000 season. Great stuff, A's had the big three but who pitched game 5 against the Yankees ? Gil Heredia who had a decent year but believe he never pitched in the majors again after 2001. They got Appier for 3 players, one of whom the A's got from the Cardinals in the great robbery that was the Mark Mcgwire trade lol.Just great, great stuff. And you know how I like to connect 6 degrees of seperation to this roster set and your Mets. The GM of the A's Billy Beane, his mentor might very well be the next GM of the Mets, Sandy Alderson lolComment

Re: Turn Back the Clock: 2000 Season Replay-A Subway Series
I was wondering, whos the "B. Alamaengzer(sp?)" onthe Yankees roster whos a 19 year old minor leaguer and rated better than most of the guys on he main roster? It looked like a generic player to me.Comment

Don't forget that Knight said if a fake player has only a first initial for a first name, he's not a real player from the 2000 season.
