I literally was just going to post and apologize since I have re-read the thread like 5 times. I got confused with all of the people helping and trading, etc.

I can't wait for a good final set (or 2) so I can start a franchise.

I just checked these out great work. These are pretty good. Knights & co's base with very realistic stances & deliveries by ImBacon and great job with those equipment edits by runandshoots.
Hopefully we'll get some pitch edits down the road.

        Re: 2011 OSFM Pitch Edits

Just to clarify, I emailed Dkrause71 the pitch edits that Razr did last year. Since Razr did not have the time to do pitch edits this year, I figured people could use them again this year, or you could use them as a platform for this year. Most pitcher's don't change their pitches every year.

I did not mean to imply that every pitcher was exactly the same for this year. Some pitches probably could be improved or worse than last year amd some of the deliveries could have changed from 10 to 11.

Feel free to post any changes so maybe others could just update the list to be more current.

Since I still have the edits saved from 10, I could post other pitchers who do not appear on the spreadsheet I made if anyone is interested.

That is correct. It's in the thread. Sheet 3 are the Pitch edits from last year.

Just remember that the pitch ratings on sheet 3 are from the 2009 season

There are no ratings edits from last year

Is the pitch edit roster done? If so what name is it under? I havent seen anything in the vault yet.

                    Re: 2011 OSFM Pitch Edits

To be honest I like the fact we get together and help the community but there needs to be a SERIOUS discussion on what the DEVS need to do to implement this stuff. This is not our work. I have worked my fair share on 2010 and I just don't see the point year to year. The devs need to nail this stuff down because we are doing it much much better than they are and that is not even funny imho.

I love their work but with stats and motions, etc. it has really been a mediocre job. I would personally appreciate someone like knight looking into this. We need these devs to understand why we want this stuff done. Getting paid, I would be all over this stuff. Otherwise, doing the 2010 rosters took a crapload of time. I don't have 11 and will not be buying a game until 12 where I will definitely be available to correct the problems which in all honesty should be much much less by then.

If anybody cares you could possibly take a look at my 2010 OVERHAUL roster based off of 4.3 as I did about 100 pitchers using pitch F/X and MLB stats EOS and I spent A LOT of time on it. As far as I know I was one of the first ones using Texas Leaguers. The top pitchers for the season were done including a decent amount of relievers. If people are unhappy with anything I am sure you will find very accurate stats there. Roster tools that use a curve above 2 years are imo just not suited for this game. Of course I could not get to everybody myself. As well, tho, basing things off of one year can backfire when not updated. I think 2 year curve is prolly the best and I did take this into account doing my rosters.

I started putting these in myself and am almost done with the AL East. Anyone interested in helping? These are based off OSFM 2.0 with stances and equipment and each team cut to 25 man rosters by HustlinOwl.

I started doing the same but it was taking much longer than I anticipated to input all the ratings and I lost motivation. Just wondering... how are the pitch edits affecting the pitchers' overall ratings? Are some pitchers, as a result of the edits, underrated/overrated?

Im willing to roll with the 09 pitch edits if that is correct, but yeah ima roll with the edits and toss it up as a pitcher having an off year if he is affected negatively in my season.
Also ill probably go in and edit pitchers like Kershaw and give him a deadly slider.

No. The actual pitch ratings really don't differ that drastically from SCEA's ratings in most cases. There are some exceptions obviously. The best thing about the pitch edits is correcting incorrect pitch types and mirroring the movement a pitcher really has on his pitches in real life. Makes the game so much better IMO.
