The words "Jump", "Drive", my "Face" and "Breeders" do not belong in the same post! LOL

Ok I got one from work....peer pressure. Thank god you guys are pushing drugs.

I'm sure I'm savey enough to figure out the loading process...but give me a run thru of the step to get them to you via the interwebs.

Also the card are barely started. Maybe easier to just do them slugg...you're lightening fast at this. Prob quicker.

                  Sure.

                  1. Put the flash drive into your PS3.
                  2. Go to the main PS3 menu (not from within the game).
                  3. Find the "Saved Game Utility" folder (I'm pretty sure that's the one).
                  4. Locate the roster that you want to upload.
                  5. Press Triangle (I think) or whichever button brings up the options.
                  6. Select "Copy".
                  7. A prompt will ask you where you want to copy to.
                  8. Select your flash drive, which may come up as "Removable Memory" or something to that effect. The roster should copy to your flash drive.
                  9. Remove your flash drive and insert it into your CPU's USB port.

When looking through the files on your flash drive, you should be able to find the folder with your roster in it. There will be 4 files in the roster folder.

                  10. Upload each of the 4 files to Sendspace or whatever program you're using to share the files.
                  11. There will be a link to each file. If you use Sendspace, those links are sent to you via email. Or they might also be available on the upload page.
                  12. Start a PM to sluggbugg. Include the links to all 4 files. You'll also want to include the name of the roster folder.
                  13. Copy the name of the roster folder. It's usually something like [BCUS98251_ROST_00000000276FEB96].
                  12. Paste the name of the folder in the message to sluggbugg telling him that the files are available for his download.

I think that's it. The message you send to sluggbugg just has to have the name of the roster folder and the links to all 4 files. Sluggbugg can figure out the rest.

                    AWESOME GCG DOOOOOO EEEETTTTTT!!!!!!!!

I got the three teams from Random. If I get those teams from you, I will go on a bender to get this done some time tomorrow. Thursday at the latest.

Oh and sendspace.com should give you the download link on the page after you upload the file. Unless they have changed since last time I uploaded a file through them.

                        SF and Hou are done.

That leaves Mil, Chi, and Stl (STILL) coming from GCG , I still have to enter LAA from Random's save and Pit, Cin and NYY for me to do.

BTW this whole situation makes me really wish online play was more solid. It would be great to do a league with you guy now. But online play is so lame and clunky....that I don't think it's all that fun.

Any chance you guys put Fendy on Washington's team? If I'm not mistaken, he was the dude you could always get to brawl on Bases Loaded. I might be wrong, but I think that was him. Dude hit some mammoth homeruns as well.

The direction we decided to go with the base roster is we generated players with OOTP 11 and then exported the roster on a spreadsheet (you can view the spreadsheet via the link on the first post of this thread). That was the basis for the players we created.

Rather than impose a theme on everyone that gets these rosters, we wanted to keep it fairly basic. That makes this roster incredibly flexible and customizable. It wouldn't take you more than a few minutes to tweak some ratings and rename a handful of players in any way you want.

We initially considered creating players such as "Paste" and "John Dowd" (you could include "Fendy" here), but ultimately decided that those kinds of players could be created individually and then uploaded to the player vault. Then it's up to each person that downloads this roster whether they want to add those kinds of players or not.

I think the roster that sluggbugg is finishing up has plenty of character, but still leaves lots of room for customization. If you want to create "Fendy" you should make him and upload him to the player vault and then leave a post on this thread to let others know he's available. I, for one, would like to add players like that to my roster. If anyone makes "Paste", I'd certainly download him too.

                                Re: Fictional Rosters

To add to what RM so eloquently put in the post above, each team has 12-15 "ghosts" that make up the "A" roster.

These "ghosts" are essentially blank. These are your A-Rod's, Thome's, etc. that have a lot of playing time under their belt and have accumulated a good amount of stats.

We didn't want one of the new edits to hit a homerun, for example, and hear the announcer say, "So and So just hit his 600th homerun".

Those "ghost" players are fully customizable, however. If you would like to create, or download from the vault, Paste or Fendy and import over one of them, it would work just fine.

There is still room for quite a bit of customization on the users part, after they download the roster.
