Haha yes! However, I don't, think, that enough, commas, were used,. Wow, it took me a half hour to get through his post and i wasn't even answering his questions lol. As for the lineups being complained about I think everyone just needs to chill out. You have already said that this isn't the opening day set. Also, to put this in perspective a little bit, "Baseball Tonight" on ESPN said this morning that Terry Francona used 143 different lineups last year alone. So a lot of the time managers don't even know their own lineups until gameday. Let's just all enjoy this roster set and appreciate all the hard work that went into them.

Re: MLB 11 The Show - Operation Sports Full Minors 2011 (Spring Training Version)
Last year, since I was also the Yankees, I manually DL'd Joe Nathan because he's in the AL. I think I chose the 'arm ripped completely off body' one, and he was DL'd for a long, long time. LOL!
I don't worry too much about the NL injuries. But I suppose you could manually DL them.
LAST YEAR, you had to go to profile settings, and place injuries to 'manual.' Then, you DL the player, and then turn injuries back ON in your settings. You could do this at anytime during the season last year (opening day, June whatever, or even pull Youk's hammy right before a big series...heh, heh).
It may be more complicated this year though. I haven't tried it yet.Comment

So my adjustments are made and roster is saved, but after I start my chise it jumbles.
So then I go to make my edits, now the issue is it piuts players in MLB and if I want to send them back down it uses their options.
seems like every time i get a grast of things I run into another issue.

Re: MLB 11 The Show - Operation Sports Full Minors 2011 (Spring Training Version)
Question for anyone who may know the answer. In spring training, when a player is cut, does that use one of their minor league options? Just wondering, as I was going to send everyone down at the end of spring training but noticed it was using options. If that is normal, I'm ok with that, but I'd rather not use up options if I don't need to.84% of statistics are uselessComment

Ok, so what do I have to do to use these and no game breaking glitches affect my franchise?? I've been trying to read alone the entire thread, but I'm getting confused as to what the issues are and what the fixes are, if there are indeed any.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - Operation Sports Full Minors 2011 (Spring Training Version)
Okay I just started my franchise and from what I can tell the rosters didn't jumble.
What I did was start with 30 team control, but set them all as if they were the team I'll be playing (manual everything). I simmed through spring training to opening day, and THEN I changed the other 29 teams to the backup profile, which has everything to AUTO except for Training which is on manual (To avoid the future ratings problems as far as I know...).
I'm not sure if I'm just misunderstanding all of the posts about 40 man rosters and lineups jumbling and stuff.. or maybe now that they're all back to auto if they'll jumble after opening day. Guess I'll find out soon enough!PSN: LobsterKillahComment

If I'm understanding you right, you need to set your roster BEFORE you start your franchise. Do this from the main menu.
Turn on game.
Load roster.
Set roster (Montero, Granderson, etc).
Save roster.
Start franchise and use the 'saved' roster. The one you just finished.
Place your profile under the Yankees.
Place a second profile to all other teams, one with roster settings (40 man, trades, lineups, etc) set to 'auto.'Comment

Then I start Franchise with those rosters.
As soon as i sim spring training, my rosters are a mess, and AAA players are in the bigs, then I need to use options to send them down.
I hope i am explaining this right. But I have re-read what I wrote a few times and it seems to be whats happening. BTW thanks for all this help.New York Jets

Re: MLB 11 The Show - Operation Sports Full Minors 2011 (Spring Training Version)
Page 1 post involves using the 25 man roster. I was trying to avoid that.
Or if I was using 40 man I would have to bring down 15 players on every team, then bring them back up.
If anyone has done this how long did it take?Last edited by sportscenter22; 04-01-2011, 08:09 PM.New York Jets

Re: MLB 11 The Show - Operation Sports Full Minors 2011 (Spring Training Version)
Important reminder for people using 40-man Rosters and Lineups/Club Levels sticking:
Once you begin Spring Training, any and all players on the 40-man roster, regardless of whether or not they are assigned to MLB, AAA, AA, or A, will be placed on the MLB Roster. Consider this a Spring Training Invitation.
If Spring Training is simmed, and the regular season is 'ADVANCED' to, the computer will automatically assign players on the 40-man roster to whatever level it sees fit based on ratings/needs. Here are the steps to ensure that the Club level stays intact (mirroring how you had them BEFORE starting up your season/franchise).
1. Sim or play spring training, but DON'T advance to the regular season.
2. AFTER all the games on your schedule, 15 players from the 40-man will need to be assigned to the appropriate organization level. Even though on your main roster, their clubs say AAA,AA, and A; since they were 'invited' to Spring Training, their 'club' status will ALWAYS say MLB during the Spring. You will need to option 15 players to the minors BEFORE spring training ends.
(Think of how the real life Yankees did that with D.Betances...or any of your favorite Minor Leaguers. They 'optioned' him/them before real Spring Training was over.)
3. Once 15 players are assigned to the AAA, AA, and A level, ADVANCE TO THE REGULAR SEASON.
Your lineups will now be intact, in the same order that they were via the MAIN MENU.Last edited by Heroesandvillains; 04-01-2011, 08:51 PM.Comment
